I have no complaints about the buckle – it's solid and comfortable to use. As for the polyester in the belt – that's a matter of taste... The belt is stiff and hard to take out. It might work if you intend to use it permanently with one pair of pants. Personally, I would prefer a soft canvas belt.

The belt is fine, you can shorten it yourself to the needed length, but you need to be careful because one of the ends is not permanently attached to the buckle and when opening, the belt may fall out along with the clasp. At first this can be troublesome, but over time you get used to how to open it correctly and then there's no problem.
