The antenna was installed on a Baofeng UV-5R HTQ radio. It is stiff and hard to break, which makes it seem very durable. I haven’t tested it while transmitting, but reception has definitely improved.
Antenna designed for Baofeng UV-5R, UV-82 and UV8-HX radios, made of flexible metal strips covered with a layer of protective rubber, which ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
It significantly improves the transmission and reception range of the signal. Thanks to its wideband SMA-F connector, the antenna is fully compatible with the mentioned device models.
Although it is 50 cm long, the flexible design allows it to be conveniently bent, making it easy to store and transport. The set includes a fabric Velcro that allows the folded antenna to be clipped together and secured while carrying it.

I don't have much experience with this type of equipment, so it's hard for me to assess the actual impact of the antenna on the range, but it looks solid, assembles without any issues, and so far nothing has broken. I recommend it.

Works as intended, noticeably increases radio range, reception in buildings is much better. The thread fits without any problem and holds the antenna firmly.

I just received the antenna, tested it right away, and I am satisfied. It clearly increases the range, even in built-up areas. I can hear other users more clearly. I recommend it. PS: For me, the antenna is solidly mounted.

Very good quality and effectiveness. I recommend this product.

Improves range, I recommend it.

The signal is much stronger than with the factory antenna. In my experience, it is a better choice than a flexible antenna of similar length.

Much better transmission and reception range compared to the factory antenna. I really like the ability to fold the antenna, like in old military equipment, and the quality is much higher. The only downside is that after fully tightening the antenna, the outer housing doesn’t touch the radio and the antenna is held only by the thread. I suggest adding a 4-5 mm thick plastic ring that fits the base of the antenna.
