Xtar PB2S Charger with powerbank function - Red

Portable processor charger with powerbank function designed for unprotected Li-Ion 3.6-3.7V 18650/20700/21700 and protected 18650 batteries. Equipped with two independent channels for charging 1 or 2 cells. The charger also has a function to reactivate deeply discharged batteries.

The built-in balancer controls the charging process so that the most discharged batteries are charged first, and when a similar level of battery charge is reached, both are charged simultaneously. When used as a powerbank, it starts discharging from the most discharged cell, and when the charge level is equal, it discharges both simultaneously.

The charger is equipped with two ports: USB-A and USB-C (which also serves as an input). The sockets are compatible with the QC 3.0 protocol, thus providing charging power of 18 W. Safety of use is ensured by protections against overheating, short circuit and reverse polarity.

The large HD display allows you to check the current charge level of the batteries, the voltage and the charging and discharging current.

The model uses the TC/CC/CV charging method. With a three-stage charging process, the charger adjusts the current delivered to the cells depending on their state of charge:
- TC (Trickle Current) - “awakens” the battery below 2.9 V,
- CC (Constant Currnet) - charges the cell with a constant current,
- CV (Constant Voltage) - the charger proceeds to charge with a decreasing current.
