Wiley X Recon Tactical Glasses - Captivate Polarized Black Mirror/Matte Grey

Comfortable, very lightweight, well-fitting safety glasses with a large rectangular frame to accommodate very large corrective lenses. The degree of mechanical strength of the glazing allows you to protect your eyes from shrapnel, ricochets and other incoming objects, meeting the requirements of class F (protects against objects weighing 0.86 g moving at 45 m/s).

The frames are made of durable Triloid, and their shape ensures a good fit and does not limit comfort when using headphones or ear protectors. Rubber, non-slip temples and nose pads ensure that the glasses sit firmly on the face. Detachable rotating side shields give additional protection to the eyes from objects coming from the side that the visor does not fully protect.

The lenses are made of durable Selenite polycarbonate, and provide light transmission of 13%. They are perfect for outdoor activities in sunny weather and bright lighting conditions.

The lenses feature Oleophobic coating, which prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from sticking, making the lenses easy to clean. The T-Shell coating protects the lenses from scratches, which definitely prolongs their life.

Polarized lenses made with Captivate technology equalize the visible light spectrum so that light reaches the eye more evenly. They preserve neutral colors while enhancing greens. They reduce glare and enhance contrast and color in outdoor environments and provide eye protection against harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays , as well as blue light (HEV).

The glasses meet standards:
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and visor can withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball traveling at 164.6 km/h (45 m/s),
- EN.166F standard: meets the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated particles (Medium Energy Impact). According to the standard, the frame and visors can withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, moving at a speed of 162 km/h.
