A good old whetstone - exactly the kind my grandfather used to sharpen his scythe is used by me to sharpen my Kukri machete because of the profile of its blade, and it handles it great, I have also sharpened my axe with it without a problem.

It suits me very well: the surface is neither too smooth nor too gritty - perfect for sharpening knives. I have tried different types of sharpeners, but there is nothing like this one: stone, with the right texture.

A whetstone of good quality. Allows you to sharpen an axe, a knife and with more experience also a hand scythe. The goods came whole, undamaged. I recommend it as highly as possible.

Used for sharpening axes and machetes with good results. I remember that in the past stones of this shape, were commonly used for sharpening scythes. I recommend because it's cheap and does the job!

I do not know if it is the fault of the courier company or the militaria company, but either way, the whetstone came to me damaged. A piece of it was broken off. Admittedly, this does not matter much in use, but I am more concerned with the aesthetics of the shipped goods. Other than that, it's fine.
