Savotta Valjas Slim Belt Pad - M05 Woodland

Modular sleeve with M05 Woodland camouflage, serving as a universal platform for comfortably carrying essential equipment. Made from 500D Cordura and polyester, and its exterior side features openings for attaching gear in the PALS system. The design is compatible with belts up to 50 mm wide.

Construction from Cordura and polyester

Made from 500D Cordura, which is characterised by high resistance to abrasions, tears, and intensive use. This material also guarantees hydrophobic properties that limit moisture penetration, enhancing durability in tough environmental conditions. The mesh lining made from 100% polyester prevents discomfort, even with the use of hard pouches and in cases of high load. The materials used also meet NIR (Near Infrared) standards, meaning reduced visibility in the infrared range.

PALS mounting system

The design allows for proper adjustment of the belt to the wearer's figure. At the back, there is a PALS mounting system that ensures secure attachment of additional equipment. The ergonomic shape of the belt provides comfortable use in conjunction with a tactical vest, and the construction facilitates access to accoutrement and limits belt movement.

Main features

  • made from durable material
  • lightweight
  • mounting loops for the belt
  • PALS panel allowing installation of additional equipment

M05 Woodland Camouflage

M05 (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) camouflage is a series of pixelated camouflage patterns that were introduced to the Finnish Armed Forces in 2005 as the successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photos of Finnish forests, taken by the Finnish Forest Research Institute in different seasons. The M05 family includes several variants, including woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite colours, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and land conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage is also effective in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
