Red Dot One Kimar RX Sleeping Bag - Olive

Sleeping bag in an olive shade, with a mummy construction, allowing comfortable positioning of the body and freedom of movement during sleep. Created for spring and autumn use. Made from durable polyester, the bottom part of the sleeping bag features water resistance of 12000 mm/m2. The model incorporates RX Alu technology, utilising an external layer that reflects heat, significantly enhancing thermal comfort.

Sleeping bag use temperatures determined in accordance with EN 13537:

• T-comfort: +2 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
• T-limit: -4 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -21 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which one can survive in a sleeping bag. This is not a recommended value for standard use.

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of polyester, which provides high resistance to mechanical damage, abrasion, and moisture. The interior of the sleeping bag is lined with a soft, brushed polyester lining with a structure resembling flannel, providing thermal comfort and ease of use. Additionally, the bottom part is made from a material with increased water resistance at a level of 12000 mm/m2, effectively protecting against ground moisture and morning dew.

The filling consists of synthetic polyester microfibre with a fine fibre structure that creates an efficient insulating layer with a low total weight. The material maintains its insulating properties with increased humidity, reduces water absorption, and allows for quick drying, enhancing comfort during use in the field. The insulation system is supported by RX Alu technology, using an external Silver PU coating that reflects heat back inside, increasing the sleeping bag's thermal efficiency.

The sleeping bag provides ergonomics and comfort of use. The profiled foot area and extended space around the chest and hips enhance comfort during sleep. The sleeping bag weighs 1450 grams, and when compressed, the dimensions are 28 x 18 cm, allowing for easy carrying in a hiking backpack or larger bag. A internal pocket allows for storing small items, and four elastic stabilising loops enable the sleeping bag to be secured on uneven or sloped terrain.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way central zip secured by an extended thermal strip that prevents heat loss and snagging. Additionally, a glow-in-the-dark zip pull makes it easier to operate in low-visibility conditions. An adjustable hood allows for a snug fit and reduces heat loss outside. The drawstrings on the hood and collar have different thicknesses, facilitating operation without the use of sight. A Velcro panel in the foot area is used for user identification or attachment of reflective elements.
