Disappointed. 1. The torch starts flickering when the battery runs low (very quickly on bright mode). Walking in the dark, the light suddenly goes out and you can trip and hurt yourself. 2. The plastic element for adjusting the strap broke — now it can't be adjusted. 3. The closure broke – a gap formed and the light works intermittently, something is not connecting. The torch was rarely used, was not mechanically damaged, and was not dropped. I'm wondering if I can return it.

Aria 1 head torch torch, with350 lumens and a maximum range of 70 meters. Equipped with 3 modes of white light. The diode used allows for a diffused beam of light. Changing modes is done with a single button, allowing you to adjust the type of beam to suit your current needs. Built-in Lock function locks the torch from accidental activation during transport.
The Aria 1 comes with three AAA batteries, but is also compatible with the Petzl Core rechargeable battery (available separately). The torch automatically detects the power source and adjusts its lighting parameters accordingly. When using the rechargeable battery, the maximum output increases to 450 lumens.
Made of plastic, the housing is lightweight yet durable. It meets IK07 impact and drop resistance standards. The torch is dustproof and waterproof according to the IP67 standard - immersion to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes.

This is an older model from Petzl, but it's worth its price. The sealing has been improved, although access to the batteries is now more complicated – it took me 15 minutes, but I managed. The light is great, and with the rechargeable battery, it works like the more expensive Aria 2 model. I hid the price from my wife by using the parcel locker, because it used to be less than 300 PLN with the battery.

How can you ruin quite a good piece of equipment in production? When the batteries are low, the torch starts to flicker – the first time at night, I didn't know what was happening, and on subsequent occasions, I was still surprised: the light goes out and comes back on – I suppose that was the designers' idea. The second buckle for the strap was lost after about a month of use – that’s how it was made. The battery cover does not close fully. The coloured battery indicator is fine, but for example, for the army, this will not work – after switching off the torch, I would like the light to go out immediately, not to glow in colour for a while afterwards.
