Peli Air Case 1705 Transport Case - Black

Black transport case built from durable and damage-resistant material, a patented blend of HPX2 polymer materials by Peli. Contents are effectively protected during transport or storage. The model meets the IP67 seal standard, which safeguards against water and dust. Additionally, protection against mechanical damage and pressure changes increases safety during air transport.

The casing made from impact-resistant HPX2 resin using injection moulding technique is characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage, deformation, as well as the influence of external factors such as moisture, dust, or temperature changes with low weight. The construction equipped with an O-ring meets the IP67 seal standard, providing full protection against dust and resistance to immersion up to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.

The interior of the case filled with resilient cushioning foam effectively protects against shocks and mechanical damage. Inserts can be customised for transported equipment, ensuring its stability and minimising movement during transit. This solution allows for the customisation of protection levels based on the type of equipment being carried, which is important for delicate, shock-sensitive devices.

Reinforced lid closed with three sturdy Press and Pull type auto-locking latches is easy to operate with one hand, with additional protection provided by holes for securing contents with padlocks. The interior of the case offers space for freely arranging and organising the contents, with rubberised carry handles on both sides for a secure grip. Additionally, there is an extendable transport handle on the shorter side.

The case meets the MIL-SPEC certification requirements, confirming professional protection in the transport of sensitive equipment – the resistance includes, among others, tests for low temperature, vibration, and vertical impacts in accordance with DEF STAN 81-41, the standard for military equipment.

The automatic equalisation valve with which the case is equipped compensates for pressure differences between the interior of the case and the surroundings, facilitating opening after changes in altitude or temperature. The valve body is made from ABS, and the venting element is made from hydrophobic Hi-Flow Gore-Tex fibreglass, which supports tightness and reliable protection of equipment during transport in challenging conditions.

The case is additionally equipped with wheels made from abrasion-resistant PU, facilitating transport. Their smooth operation is ensured by steel ball bearings.
