Olight Marauder 2 Cool White Rechargeable Flashlight - 14000 lumens, 800 m range

An upgraded version of the Olight Marauder X7R torch, the Marauder 2 model offers two types of light beams – a wide beam (Floodlight), produced by 12 high-performance Cool White LEDs with TIR optics, delivering up to 14,000 lumens, and a focused beam (Spotlight), generated by a large Cool White LED with a lens, providing up to 850 lumens and a range of up to 800 metres.

The body is constructed from A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium with a durable Type III hard-anodised finish in black. A partially rubberised grip ensures a secure hold, even when hands are wet or dirty. The O-ring sealing system provides IPX8 waterproof protection, allowing continuous submersion to a depth of 2 metres.

Additionally, the torch head is protected by a steel bezel, while its robust construction ensures resistance to drops from heights of up to 1 metre. A lanyard attachment hole on the body provides extra security.

The proximity sensor reacts to close contact with a solid object, which in Turbo modes lowers the light output. This ensures safe use by protecting the eye from too much contact with a strong light source.

The body features a switch for selecting between the wide and focused beam (Floodlight/Spotlight). The multifunctional rotary button enables 7 brightness levels, device locking and unlocking, and quick access to Turbo and Strobe modes. Turbo mode is activated by double-clicking the button, while Strobe mode is triggered with three quick presses. Unlocking the torch requires rotating the switch by 90 degrees. Around the switch, micro-LED indicators display the battery charge level and the current brightness setting.

Advanced electronics regulate power consumption, ensuring constant light output until the battery is fully discharged. The Active Thermal Management system prevents overheating in maximum mode by adjusting current levels, stabilizing brightness at 3,200 lumens in Floodlight mode and 650 lumens in Spotlight mode. Once cooled and restarted, the flashlight returns to maximum mode. The electronics also manage mode selection and memory of the last used setting.

Power is provided by three built-in 21700 batteries with a total capacity of 5,000 mAh and a voltage of 10.8V (54 Wh). With its USB-C port, the torch can also function as a power bank. The charging port is located at the base of the torch – it is accessed by rotating the lower ring counterclockwise and closed by turning it back clockwise.
