Olight Marauder 2 Cool White Rechargeable Torch - 14,000 lumens, 800 m range

Improved version of the Olight Marauder X7R torch. The Marauder 2 offers two types of light beam – a wide beam (Floodlight), generated by 12 high-performance Cool White LEDs with TIR optics, providing power up to 14,000 lumens, and a focused beam (spotlight), emitted by a large Cool White LED with a lens, generating power up to 850 lumens and a range of up to 800 metres.

The body is made of aircraft-grade aluminium A6061-T6 with a black hard anodised finish, type III. The partially rubberised handle ensures a secure grip even with wet or dirty hands. The O-ring system guarantees IPX8 watertightness, protecting against continuous immersion to a depth of 2 metres.

In addition, the torch head is protected by a steel crown, and the robust design ensures resistance to falls from a height of up to 1 metre. There is also an opening on the body for attaching a lanyard or safety line.

The proximity sensor detects when the device is close to an obstacle and automatically reduces the power in Turbo mode to protect the user's eyes from excessive light intensity.

The body has a switch for selecting between wide beam and spotlight. The multifunctional rotary switch allows you to choose from 7 brightness levels, lock and unlock the device, and quickly access turbo and strobe mode. Turbo mode is activated by pressing the button twice quickly, and strobe mode by clicking it three times. The torch is unlocked by turning the button 90 degrees. Micro-diodes around the switch indicate the charge level and the current operating mode.

Advanced electronics manage energy consumption, ensuring constant light output until the battery is completely discharged. The Active Thermal Management system protects the LEDs from overheating in maximum mode by adjusting the current flow, stabilising the brightness at 3200 lumens in Floodlight mode and 650 lumens in Spotlight mode. Once the torch has cooled down and been restarted, it works again at maximum mode. The electronics are also responsible for operating the modes and remembering the last setting used.

Power is provided by three built-in 21700 rechargeable batteries with a total capacity of 5000 mAh and a voltage of 10.8 V (54 Wh). Thanks to the USB-C connector, the torch can function as a power bank. The charging port is located on the bottom of the torch – it can be accessed by turning the bottom ring counter-clockwise, and turning it back the other way closes the port cover.
