The flashlight, equipped with an LED for generating UV light with a wavelength of 405 nm, allows a wide range of applications in the detection of fluorescent substances, forensic investigation, quality control and amber search.
Constructed of durable 6061-T6 black anodized aerospace aluminum, the flashlight is very lightweight and resistant to damage. The compact dimensions (length 150 mm, diameter 19 mm, thickness 26 mm) and low weight of 72 grams (without batteries) make it easy to use and transport, even in a pocket.
The device is powered by two AA-type batteries (LR6), which are widely available and affordable. In addition, the C2 UV model is equipped with a loop for attaching a lanyard. The on/off switch is located on the back and only operates the maximum UV light mode without additional functions.
The ruggedness of the device has been confirmed by IPX7 certification, which means the ability to withstand drops from a height of 1 meter and water resistance to a depth of 1 meter.
The device comes with two AA batteries, a lanyard and a set of replaceable thread seals.
