I always wanted to have a fire starter like this, but I put off buying a good one for a long time. Previously, I used cheap Chinese versions that didn't work well. I finally decided to invest in a good fire starter and it turned out to be a perfect choice – it works great, even with the included metal plate. The sparks are really strong and you can easily start a fire with them. For me, it's more of an interesting gadget and great fun to start a fire this way.

If you have never used a fire starter before, this model may not be the best choice – mainly because of the poor scraper, which is very important for efficiency. It is better to invest straight away in a better, though more expensive, fire starter instead of struggling with this one for a long time. Later on, you can confidently choose this product.
