At the beginning of my outdoor cooking journey, I used a regular pot placed directly on the campfire embers. Over time, I started using simple mess tins, which turned out to be much better, but problems arose when I wanted to light a fire in public places or near other people. That's why I started looking for a portable stove that could be quickly set up, used to prepare food, and just as quickly packed away. In my opinion, it's spirit burners that are the most versatile. Their equivalents, similar to the Trangia, can be found for a few dozen zlotys, but you still need to add the cost of a wind shield, pot stand, and separate pots. In the end, the total price easily exceeds 100 zlotys, and it's hard to find a solution where everything fits together and packs easily. The Mil-Tec Cook-Set offers a practically complete set that beats ordinary mess tins hands down. For a single price, you get a spirit burner, wind shield, and two pots and a frying pan, which can also be used as a plate or lid. Personally, I treat this purchase like I bought a great set of cookware and got the burner as a free bonus. For this money, it’s hard to find anything better. I sincerely recommend it and would definitely buy it again myself.
