This is my first experience with gaiters. They are a bit stiff, but I suppose that's so they don't slip down. High, wet grass wasn't a problem for them – they worked well.

Calf protectors that protect pant legs from damage, dirt and getting wet. Made of non-absorbent, quick-drying polyester and finished with extreme weather resistant polyvinyl chloride.
When applied, they cover the legs from the knees to the ankles, along with the upper part of the shoes. This design prevents dirt from getting inside the shoes.
The stuputs are fastened with a heavy-duty zipper, which is covered by a Velcro fastening strip. Elastic pullers located in three places prevent the protectors from slipping while walking. This solution also allows for a precise adjustment of the stuput to the calf circumference.
Attached to shoes with a metal hook and steel wire with an adjustable buckle.
