Multigas filter absorber FP 211/1-P3/W-R designed for gas mask MT213/2. In combination with the mask, the filter absorber provides complete protection of the respiratory system against the harmful effects of toxic industrial substances in the form of solid and liquid particles .
The filter absorber uses Rd 40x1/7" threaded connector. The housing of the FP 211/1-P3/W-R model is made of metal. The lifetime of the filter absorber is limited by the odor threshold, i.e. the concentration of the substance does not exceed the value of NDS (the highest permissible concentration sensed by the user. Exceptionally, if the filter absorber is used only for protection against mercury vapors, its total lifetime may not exceed 50 hours.
Standard EN 14387:2004, the requirements of which the filter meets, specifies what hazards the filter absorber used in the mask provides protection against, these are mainly:
- organic vapors and gases whose boiling point is higher than 65 degrees,
- Inorganic gases and vapors except carbon monoxide,
- sulfur dioxide and other acidic vapors and gases,
- ammonia and organic derivatives of ammonia.

I rate the quality of workmanship 10/10.

I haven't tested it in action yet, for now it's lying in reserve in case of an “emergency”. The packaging is good, it has a long expiry date and is quite light.

The filter, sealed in a plastic casing, was not vacuum packed, which is why it has a five-year shelf life. I bought it in November, and its production date is May, so that's very good. Fortunately, I haven't had to use the filter in an emergency situation yet, but all the seals and caps were intact, so I don't anticipate any problems.

The parcel was well secured and delivered safely. I hope I won't have to check its operation in practice.

The filter absorber was securely packed. It has standard dimensions, although in the photo it looks bigger than it is in reality. Tested while working in a silo – works flawlessly. It's worth buying a model with a current expiry date, as in this offer (with proper storage it will most likely last much longer, at least for the dust filter part).
