A major plus is the convenience of use, but if your budget allows, it’s worth buying a separate knife sharpener for the kitchen and another one for outdoor use.
Knife whetstone in the form of an extendable rod coated with diamond sprinkles. With a gradation of 600, it allows for quick sharpening of slightly dulled blades.
Tungsten carbides placed on the back of the sharpener are used to repair the cutting edge of severely dulled knives. The carbides force a sharpening angle of 22.5 degrees per side.
The case with a non-slip texture is made of steel.

It is heavy, but the carbides for quick sharpening work well with kitchen knives, the diamond part as well; overall a functional and handy sharpener.
