The jacket works great both as an insulating layer and as a standalone outer garment – it's very warm and light. I always have it with me, as this is already my third jacket from this brand. In this version, in wz 93, there are Velcro fasteners on both sleeves. I definitely recommend it!

The Wolfhound without a hood is a great addition to your wardrobe for tougher weather conditions and a very good alternative to thick fleeces or softshells. The balance between weight, comfort and price is very attractive! In severe frost, however, I would choose the version with a hood as a standalone jacket. Ideally, have both versions – it’s hard to find a better product in this price range. I sincerely recommend it!

The Wolfhound jacket without a hood is a great addition to a softshell set and an excellent alternative to heavy fleeces. The ratio of insulation, weight and packability is at a very high level! The lack of a hood isn’t a problem if you put an additional softshell or hardshell layer on top. However, if you need a jacket for winter as a primary layer, I suggest choosing the version with a hood. Ideally, have both – it’s hard to find a better product in this price range. I definitely recommend it!

An excellent jacket, it takes up very little space and is very warm. It fits easily under a uniform sweatshirt and does not stick out. Ensures thermal comfort. Highly recommended.
-
I've never had such a good jacket – it insulates excellently from the cold at around -4 degrees. The very breathable material means you don’t need to take it off in warm interiors.
-
The jacket is nice, but unfortunately it was too short for me. At first I bought size M, but it turned out to be too small, so I chose size L – it was better, but I finally decided on a hooded model, which is longer and does not widen the chest.
-
I wear this compact jacket on cooler days, usually in the field I have it in my backpack packed in its cover. Even though it’s thin, it retains heat very well. With the right size, you can put a thicker layer underneath and it still doesn’t restrict your range of motion, which is very comfortable during a break.
-
A solid jacket, I don’t have any major complaints. However, the sizing is slightly smaller – if you’re between two sizes, it’s better to choose the larger one. The jacket’s material is soft, so it can be damaged easily by sharp surfaces, so it’s worth keeping this in mind.
-
The jacket looks unassuming – it’s light and thin, yet provides very good insulation and comfort when worn. I haven’t had the chance to test its waterproofness in the rain, but it retains heat very well, doesn’t restrict movement, and looks good even on a slim figure. The camouflage is also a big advantage.

I'm 191 cm tall, MON size M/XXL – Helikon XL fits perfectly. Tested at 3 degrees and in the wind, with no sun – it felt like -1. Worn over a green t-shirt, it provided solid thermal comfort. With a thin 170mm merino, 6 hours at zero apparent temperature was definitely enough, I even had to open the jacket sometimes. The lack of a collar is both a drawback (you need to wear a scarf/buff) and an advantage (the MON Gore can be seen underneath). The taiga green colour from afar may resemble insulation clothing. I definitely recommend it for both service and tourist use.

This is the first Helikon jacket with insulation that I have bought and I must say that Climashield gives a great effect. The jacket is very warm and very comfortable to wear.

The Helikon Wolfhound Climashield Apex jacket is a great choice – it worked brilliantly as an extra layer for warmth at the border. It’s very warm. I use it every day in winter; with just a shirt underneath it meets my needs. Highly recommended.
-
The jacket is very light, weighs very little, is easy to compress, while providing excellent protection against the cold, even when wet. Unfortunately, it is easy to tear.
-
Great jacket for spring, autumn and mild winter. The climashield filling fulfils its function very well, providing excellent insulation. Additionally, the outer material is very resistant to damage.
-
The jacket is simple, but very pleasant. Its biggest advantage is its light weight and good thermal insulation properties. When packed, it doesn't take up much space, and it also comes with a compression sack. Personally, I use it as a warm layer between a fleece and a membrane jacket for severe frosts, but it also works well as an outer layer—just be careful, as it isn't particularly resistant to damage. I'm 182 cm tall and weigh 90 kg, for me size L is suitable.
