I have been using the jacket every day since I bought it. It is well made and designed, for example the smooth lining makes it much easier to put on and take off. The material copes well with sparks – I have tested it several times and there is no trace left. Even at -9 degrees it was still warm. The pockets are very spacious and perfectly located, at least for my needs. The hood and ability to adjust are also faultless. I definitely recommend it!

The outer layer is made of Duracanvas material, and the interior is filled with synthetic insulation Climashield Apex, providing good thermal protection and breathability. It features a high collar with a chin guard, mounting loops, and functional pockets for better organisation. Perfect for long trips and daily use.
Insulation Climashield Apex, material Duracanvas
The outer shell is made of Duracanvas fabric with a weight of 230 g/m2, which can be wax-impregnated to improve protection against rain and moisture as well as abrasion resistance. The insulation consists of high-quality synthetic Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 67g/m2, providing effective protection against cold, even when wet. It is also characterised by its lightness and good compression properties.
8 spacious pockets
The jacket has 8 practical pockets:
- two chest pockets with organisers
- two padded hip pockets
- one pocket on the left arm
- two open inner pockets

All external pockets are closed with YKK zippers. Below the chest pockets are paracord handles that allow for attaching small equipment, preventing them from being lost.
Two-way YKK zipper, ventilation openings
The main closure is a two-way zipper from YKK. The stand-up collar has a fabric guard to protect the chin from being pinched by the zipper. Under the arms, there are ventilation openings with mesh-finished zippers, which increase breathability and thermal comfort.
adjustable hood, high collar, adjustable cuffs
High collar increases comfort during rain and wind. The hood is equipped with a 3-point adjustment system that allows precise fitting to the shape of the head and current weather conditions. Two drawstrings at the waist and bottom of the jacket allow for adjusting the circumference, preventing draughts. The cuffs are adjustable with Velcro, and drawstrings in the hood and at the bottom of the jacket provide additional protection against cold.
Velcro panel on the sleeve, Molle loops
On the left sleeve, there is a velcro panel measuring 11 x 8.5 cm, allowing the attachment of various emblems – such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches – giving the jacket a personalized appearance. Tall, slim, long arms. 183cm/74kg. Size L - fits perfectly. Good quality. Light. That's what I wanted. Congratulations on the purchase - to myself... Service - quick, trouble-free. Minus - the price. Quality costs. As the classic says - it's already been cheap. I'm satisfied.

The product stands out for its high quality and practicality. The materials used are solid, and using the product is comfortable, even in various weather conditions. There is a plus for the well-designed style, which allows for free movement. However, the downside remains the price.
-
The jacket is fantastic. I didn't expect such a lightweight jacket to be so warm. I tested it in -11 degrees, wearing only a short-sleeved t-shirt underneath. Amazing. If you add a thin sweatshirt, you can easily go out even at -20. The only downside is the straps at the ventilation zips – you need to be careful that they don't come undone or get lost.
-
The jacket protects very well against the cold, especially if you wear thermal underwear underneath. The pockets and gear attachments are very practical. The insulated hood means you don't even need to wear a hat, even in freezing temperatures. For a winter model, the jacket packs easily into a backpack, as it compresses well. Size M fits perfectly for a height of 184 cm and a weight of 74 kg – there's still room for a jumper. I tested it in temperatures from -4 to -12 degrees and it performed well. The disadvantages are the rather high price and poorly attached cords to the zips at the underarm vents – it's worth adjusting them yourself right after purchase. Also, the "Taiga Green" colour does not look as good in real life as in the photos; it's better to choose "Earth Brown".

I have worn the jacket several times now. The jacket keeps you warm down to just below freezing. For even lower temperatures, I would recommend a second layer. The workmanship is good and the pockets are spacious. A second Velcro patch on the other sleeve is missing.

The jacket is generally fine. I’m lowering my rating by one star because of the price, which I think is too high for a product made in Vietnam. As for the quality, I have no complaints – it’s at a very high level. I only have a comment about the black colour I chose – it attracts all the lint and dust, which is very visible, just like on black Duracanvas trousers by Helikon. If I had to choose again, I would go for a different colour, although it doesn’t affect my final rating, as this is typically forest clothing, not for formal events. Regarding thermal properties, I’m very satisfied – in my opinion, they are good. Everyone feels temperature differently; I’m one of those who are always warm (for example, in summer my car is at 19 degrees and I’m comfortable). What I value most about this jacket, though, is that the material doesn’t scorch easily by the campfire – previously, many of my clothes were burnt.

The jacket is generally fine, but I’m only giving it three stars because the name suggests it’s a winter jacket, yet at -2 degrees it already feels cold. On the plus side, the material and the possibility of impregnation are good. It will be perfect for autumn, but for winter I would recommend choosing something warmer. If the product had been described as an autumn jacket, I would have given it 5 stars.

The jacket is excellently made and seems very durable, and its thermal properties really do keep you warm. I usually bought size L at 182 cm tall, but this time size M, even with a thick jumper underneath, fits perfectly. A big advantage is its length – it covers the kidneys and lower part of the back, and the high hood provides excellent protection from the wind. The jacket is well designed, durable, and I definitely recommend it!
-
Overall, the jacket met my expectations – solid material, careful workmanship and it looks good for everyday use. I mainly kept it with the idea of accounting it as a business expense. However, it is worth mentioning a few important points. In my opinion, the price is inflated – I wouldn't pay more than 350–400 PLN for this jacket. I wouldn't buy it again at this price, because it is not worth that much. It is warm, although not exceptionally so – it is sufficient for everyday use or for work. However, it is not suitable for standing outside for long periods in severe frost. This is not a jacket intended for prolonged exposure to low temperatures. In summary: a decent and durable jacket, but in my opinion, the price is too high and the thermal insulation is only good, not outstanding. Ideal for walking, but not for standing in strong frost.

Very good jacket, I am 178 cm tall and have a 112 cm chest. Size M fits perfectly, leaving room for a fleece or jumper. I tried size S as well, but it was too tight. So I chose M. The jacket works well at temperatures down to about -5°C, if you're moving – then it's warm even in just a t-shirt. However, if you stand still for a long time, it starts to get cold. Indeed, as others have mentioned, you can feel a slight chill in the sleeves. I advise securing the ventilation cord ends well, for example by sewing them on, as I lost two of them within two days :D I haven't waxed the jacket yet, but I'll probably do it after the first wash. A big plus is the high fastening and adjustable hood, which protects well against wind and rain and improves thermal comfort. My overall rating is 4.99/5 – I’m only deducting a tiny bit for the ventilation cords :P

I have used many outdoor jackets before – this jacket is by far my absolute favourite. The quality is absolutely top-notch and it's functional, plus it looks really good too. It is very well thought out for outdoor activities – keeps you warm and withstands rain well. Additionally, it can be waxed. Absolutely recommended purchase.
-
Very good jacket – it fits perfectly after choosing the right size (I am 176 cm tall and wear M). It is warm, lightweight, and has a functional pocket arrangement. The material is pleasant to the touch. I have been using it for a few days and can recommend it to everyone.
-
Great jacket, very well made. The material also seems durable. I chose the black one in size S, I'm 176 cm tall and weigh 76 kg – it fits perfectly. I think XS would fit me too, but it's better to have a bit of room for warmer clothes underneath. I definitely recommend both the product and the seller. Delivery, as always, was very fast.

The jacket is excellent, as is usually the case with Helikon – everything is well-thought-out, everything is in its place, and the quality of workmanship is outstanding. As always, I buy size M in Helikon at a height of 182 cm – the jacket fits great, even when I'm wearing a thicker jumper underneath, there's still some room. The jacket isn't the cheapest, but I think with proper care, it will last for many years.
