Unfortunately, this is my first negative review of UTS shorts. The changes that were supposed to be improvements turned out to be just a way to cut costs (at a higher price!). I always order the same size, hoping for more room thanks to the elastic inserts, but that didn't happen. The side pockets are too narrow – I can barely fit my hand in size L. The bigger size, XL, is not an option because the shorts would then be too large and uncomfortable. Inside the pockets, cost-cutting solutions – mesh even in the cargo pockets. Really? Probably so that your phone sweats near your leg. I hope this is only a problem with this model, which I won't buy again, and not a general decline in quality.

The modern UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) are made of high-quality Nyco RipStop (50% cotton, 50% nylon), which is characterised by high abrasion and tear resistance, and is also lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton.
Thanks to the large number of pockets and their rational layout, these shorts are perfect for urban conditions and will not disappoint during outdoor activities.
An excellent compromise between military and civilian clothing - a discreet cut, the functionality of cargo trousers. The innovative fit, the appropriate seams and the fabric used to make the trousers ensure above-average freedom of movement and durability.
The shorts are equipped with ten practical pockets:
- two classic hip pockets with reinforced edges,
- four thigh pockets (two wide zip pockets and two narrow Velcro pockets),
- four back pockets (two wide pockets and two narrow pockets inside the wide pockets).
Instead of a button, a wide velcro fastener has been used, allowing for 6 cm of adjustment. An elastic band has been sewn into the waistband to improve the fit of the shorts to individual body types. The fabric over the back pockets and in the crotch has been reinforced with an additional layer of VersaStretch nylon fabric.
The belt loops can accommodate a belt up to 50 mm wide, and the two front loops can be used to attach a carabiner, for example.

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

Hello. The trousers are very comfortable and practical. Durable material, lots of spacious pockets. The sizing is appropriate, and the Velcro waist adjustment works perfectly. Once again I chose Helikon trousers – really excellent quality.

I rarely give top ratings, but these shorts really deserve it. They were my first combat shorts, I chose the shorter variant UTS Flex 8.5'' NyCo Rip-Stop - MultiCam. I am delighted. It's worth spending the money; today I probably wouldn’t choose another style.

The trousers look elegant, are comfortable, airy and have a clear pocket layout. The Legion Forest camouflage will work best at the beginning of spring. The sizing is well described.

I have been using Helikon UTP long trousers for years and regularly buy the shorter UTS version for summer. This time I found the rarely seen Legion Forest camouflage in a great promotion, which convinced me even more to buy. The shorts in size M fit perfectly for a person 176 cm tall and with a waist of 86 cm. Proven product, very durable, I recommend it to those who are undecided. I am waiting for more camouflage versions.

Very nice shorts. In my opinion, the Velcro fastening is a great solution. They have lots of airy pockets and compartments. The material is durable, and after a year of use they still look like new. I definitely recommend them.

These shorts are excellent, the size matches the description. The material is very durable and the colour does not fade after washing. I highly recommend them for active people – they are extremely comfortable and suitable for any occasion. I wear them every day, this is already my third pair in different colours. Very comfortable shorts with lots of pockets. I tested them in demanding mountain terrain during a long hike and have no complaints. However, it’s important to choose the right size – I only managed on the second attempt :)

The shorts are extremely comfortable and have many practical, zippered pockets. The elastic inserts significantly improve the comfort. The camouflage is interesting and original. The Velcro at the waist allows you to adjust the fastening perfectly.

This is my favourite style from Helikon. The flat thigh pockets are great because they don’t catch on things. The other pockets are very useful for storing small tools and other items needed during work.

The shorts are great, with functional pockets. The only issue for people who work out their legs – I have L-sized hips but XL-sized thighs, so the legs are a bit tight and cling to my thighs. I’ve got used to it, as the material stretches slightly when worn, but at first I wanted to return them and order XL. Maybe I’ll try XL to compare. I’m 186 cm tall, 92 cm waist, and weigh 104 kg.

Great shorts, very practical pockets. The only downside for people who train their legs – I have L hips and XL thighs, and that’s where the problems start, as the shorts are quite narrow in the legs and cling to the thighs a bit. I’ve already got used to it and the material gives a bit over time, but at first I was considering returning them and ordering a size XL. Maybe I’ll try XL next time. Height 186 cm, waist 92 cm, weight 104 kg.
