The trousers are very well made and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return the XL long size because they turned out to be too short. It's a pity there isn't an XL XL long version – if it appears, I will definitely buy it. The denim material is quite thick, so the trousers are better suited for warmer days; that's the only drawback.
Helikon UTP PolyCotton Rip-Stop Trousers - Crimson Sky/Ash Grey
UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) trousers made of high-quality PolyCotton RipStop fabric with elastane (60% cotton, 37% polyester, 3% elastane), which provides exceptional resistance to abrasions and tears. This fabric is lighter and dries faster than pure cotton, increasing comfort during use. The well-thought-out placement of multiple pockets makes this model perfect for urban environments as well as outdoor activities.
Combination of comfort and durability
A unique combination of military and civilian style – a discreet design combined with the functionality of combat trousers.
A modern fit, carefully planned seams and high-quality fabric ensure excellent freedom of movement and durability.
12 practical pockets
This model offers twelve pockets, including:
- two classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets (two spacious with zippers and two narrower with Velcro closures)
- four back pockets (two wide with Velcro closures and two smaller ones inside the wide ones)
- two inner pockets near the groin, ideal for a tactical torch or spare magazine
Additionally, knee-height pockets allow for protective pad inserts.
Precise fit
Instead of a traditional button, a wide Velcro strap is used, allowing waist adjustment within a range of 6 cm. An elastic band sewn into the waist improves fit and enhances wearing comfort.
Two front belt loops have additional loops that can be used to attach a carabiner, for example.

Great jeans, I can recommend them. The pockets are functional and do not restrict freedom of movement, and those on the thighs do not hit the knees. It's a pity there aren't more intermediate sizes for people between two options – an additional size would significantly increase comfort. The denim version will be good for autumn, winter and spring. Overall, I recommend them.

Extremely well made, absolutely comfortable fit and very robust. By far one of the best trousers I’ve had for outdoor purposes and the shooting range. Thanks to the arrangement and design of the numerous pockets, it also offers plenty of first-class storage space for various items. Always a pleasure, many thanks!

The cargo trousers are extremely comfortable and well-made. A huge advantage is the large number of pockets and the flexibility of the material, which makes wearing them during activity very comfortable. I definitely recommend them!

The trousers have good pockets, which is a big advantage for jeans – they are functional and increase wearing comfort. The downside is the lack of intermediate sizes if someone has non-standard measurements. Overall, the trousers are comfortable and have a discreet look, so they will work well in church, in the forest, and in the city.

I have already bought a second pair of trousers from Helikon, and the quality pleasantly surprises me, the trousers look great, the fabric is durable, they have functional pockets and a thoughtful cut. The knee pad area doesn’t even stand out, depending on the colour you can wear them as ordinary trousers every day.

The trousers are well designed; the pockets don't hit your knees even when they're full and there are enough of them. There is a lack of intermediate sizes, especially for people who are between standard sizes, as well as an option for shorter legs, but this can be adjusted by a tailor. It's clear that savings have been made in production, which unfortunately affects the quality – if it weren't for that, the trousers would be much better. For those with more muscular legs, the legs may be too tight, whether you prefer a looser or tailored fit.

Excellent workmanship, absolutely comfortable fit and very robust. By far one of the best trousers I have had for outdoor activities and the shooting range. Thanks to the arrangement and design of the numerous pockets, it also offers plenty of good storage space for various utensils. Unfortunately, the trousers were not available in many colours in my size (I'm short and chubby...), but that's not a big problem.

I'm writing on behalf of my wife, for whom I bought these trousers this time (she likes men's styles) and she is really delighted with them. She already has about five pairs in her collection, plus two trekking pairs from Helikon. She often calls them trouser-backpacks because you can conveniently store lots of things in them.

The denim trousers are extremely comfortable, they even have more pockets than needed, arranged in the same way as the UTP model. We will see how the material performs and whether it wears out quickly. Personally, I mainly use these trousers in the city.

Tactical trousers combine practicality with the look of everyday trousers. The addition of elastane makes them a bit stretchy when you move, such as squatting or kneeling. They aren’t as flexible as the OTP model, but also less stiff than the UTP Flex. The M81 camouflage looks great.

The trousers are made from high-quality materials, they are durable, flexible, and very well designed. The only downside for me is the fastening at the waist – I would prefer a traditional fastening instead of velcro. Despite this, I have no hesitation in giving a rating of 5 out of 5.
-
The trousers are very functional and comfortable to wear, with lots of practical pockets. However, one should be careful with greasy stains as they are difficult to remove – this is a typical feature of Rip-Stop material.

These are the best trekking trousers I’ve ever had! The pockets are excellent, the reinforcements are superb, and they dry quickly. I have the same pair as my child and I am also very pleased.
-
The trousers are outstanding in every way – comfortable, well cut, and with lots of functional pockets. They will be useful in cooler, dry days. Slightly heavy as a spare to keep in your backpack, but their civilian look combined with cargo functionality is a big advantage. I recommend!
