The Helikon meeting was very successful. I bought the next pair in the RAL7013 colour. In my opinion, the colour looks great and really resembles a natural shade of khaki. For a bit over 180 PLN, I think it's a sensible choice. I definitely recommend it! 💥
Helikon UTP Flex Trousers - Adaptive Green
UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) tactical trousers made of high-quality Nyco RipStop fabric (50% cotton, 50% nylon), which is exceptionally resistant to abrasion and tearing. This fabric is lighter and dries faster than pure cotton, which increases comfort of use. The thoughtful placement of numerous pockets makes this model ideal for urban environments as well as outdoor activities.
Combination of comfort and durability
A unique set of military and civilian style – a discreet look combined with the functionality of combat trousers.
The modern fit, carefully planned seams and high-quality fabric ensure excellent freedom of movement and durability.
12 practical pockets
This model offers twelve pockets, including:
- two classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets (two spacious zippered pockets and two narrower Velcro pockets)
- four back pockets (two wide Velcro pockets and two smaller pockets inside the wide ones)
- two internal pockets in the groin area, ideal for a tactical torch or spare magazine
In addition, there are special pockets at knee height for protective inserts.
Precise fit
Instead of a classic button, a wide Velcro fastener is used, which allows for 6 cm of adjustment. An elastic band sewn into the waistband improves the fit and increases comfort.
Additional reinforcement made of VersaStretch nylon fabric is used around the back pockets and in the crotch.
The two front belt loops are equipped with additional loops that can be used to attach a carabiner, for example.

Another pair of great Helikon trousers. The material is stretchy – maybe not as much as the 4-way stretch models (which are a bit more expensive), but it seems more durable. The trousers don't restrict freedom of movement. I'm already a fan of this brand's trousers and I recommend trying out several different models for different uses. This model would even work as the only pair of trousers you own. The pocket arrangement is excellent – this is how it should be in all trousers.

For me, the trousers are very comfortable and practical. I've already bought another pair of UTP – three in the flex version and three in ripstop, each in a different colour. The olive green colour is a bit faded and pastel. It's not khaki, in any case. That colour doesn't suit me. In general, the trousers are great and I can recommend them in good conscience. Note: You should read the size chart carefully so there are no surprises.

I must admit that Helikon does a great job at making trousers. They are comfortable, have elastic inserts that work well, and the NYCO fabric is solid and protects against the wind. The arrangement of the pockets is very functional. These trousers just beg to be taken outdoors.

I have been using Pentagon BDU 2.0 trousers for several years, so I compare the Helikon UTP to them. Both models feature rip-stop, but in the Helikons it looks better and is less conspicuous than in the Pentagons. The side pockets in the Helikons have zips, but due to the extra small Velcro pockets, they are positioned a bit further back. The result? When I keep my phone or wallet there, every time I sit down I have to adjust them so I don't sit on the contents. I can't yet judge the durability of the Helikon material because I've been using them for too short a time. The Pentagons last two years; after that they fade slightly but are still wearable. The stitching on the Pentagons is durable; as for the Helikons, I don't know yet. To sum up: the Helikon UTP are average outdoor trousers – they don't stand out from the competition. As for price, the Pentagon BDU 2.0 are worth their standard price, and on promotion (I paid 105 PLN) it's a very good deal. Helikon UTPs on promotion cost 174/194 PLN, which is already a high price, but acceptable; over 300 PLN is too much. My opinion is confirmed that Helikon's products are considerably overpriced, which discourages me from buying them, even if the product is interesting. Unless the company changes its pricing policy, the competition will take over their customers.

This is definitely one of my favourite camouflages – the colours on the fabric are intense and look very nice, the material is sturdy, the cut is, as always, spot on, and the elastic component really does increase comfort when moving.
-
The VersaStretch elements under the hips and in the crotch are rather symbolic – they give a little flexibility when squatting, but the RipStop Stretch version with added elastane is much more elastic. Despite this, the NyCo fabric seems more durable, and the adaptive green shade really makes an impression.

I've been using them for some time and I have to admit, they are really very good. The cut is narrower than BDU, which I see as an advantage – they're not as tight as skinny jeans and still have a military look, just more comfortable. The pockets are cleverly arranged, my favourites are the rear ones. The green Pencott looks great, especially for military enthusiasts. Quality beyond reproach – I have a lot of Helikon clothing and I've never been disappointed. It's definitely worth investing a bit more and seeing for yourself.

I have been using these trousers for about two years. Apart from a slight fading, they have no damage, even though they've been through a lot ;) They are very comfortable and well-designed, I have no complaints about them.
-
These trousers are definitely good. The fabric mix, also used in the original M65, provides comfort and durability; they don't overheat like polyester ones. A small downside is the front thigh pockets secured with velcro – in the new, smaller sizes, my phone doesn't fit in them anymore, it used to be better.
-
My son saw these trousers on his dad and wanted to have the same, because they are very comfortable. He chose the military pattern, because he is currently interested in military stuff. Apparently, nobody at school had a problem with that :D. The trousers themselves, as is usual with Helikon UTP, are excellent in terms of ergonomics and design – I've never had more comfortable ones.
-
These are some of the best trousers I have owned. They work well both for everyday wear in the city and at the shooting range. They have many pockets, you can put knee pads in, and there are different lengths available with the same waist size. The only complaint – the front Velcro pockets could be a bit bigger to make it easier to fit a medium-sized phone case.
-
Helikon... Can you get any better? I've had them for six years – only two tiny holes on the legs. These trousers are incredibly durable: work well in the mountains, at work, for everyday wear, and they still look great. The only downside to their longevity – you notice when you've gained weight! :D

In my opinion, the trousers are very expensive – I paid 349 PLN, which is a lot for me, but thanks to two gift cards I could afford them. However, the quality itself is outstanding: great cut, they don’t restrict movement and it’s easy to find the perfect size, although you do need to check the Helikon size chart carefully. The Adaptive Green colour is an interesting mix of khaki and coyote, looks very nice, not faded or pastel. The material is sturdy, a bit shiny (I haven’t washed them yet). YKK zippers confirm the high class of the product. I find them very comfortable and super well-fitting – ideal for spring and summer. If there’s a promotion, it’s worth buying them without hesitation. As a demanding customer, I sincerely recommend them!

Very comfortable, technical trousers with a well-designed pocket layout and a refined cut. The elasticated back of the waistband works well, there is no 'builder's cleavage' effect when squatting. This time I had to buy one size larger than usual.
