Helikon-Tex Tramontane WindPack Jacket - Alpha Green

Lightweight windproof jacket, suitable as a backup protective layer in changing weather conditions. Made from durable WindPack Nylon material, it effectively shields against the wind, reducing cooling of the body during rest or less intensive activities. Its low weight and compact size when folded allow for easy carrying of the jacket in a backpack, bag or even trousers pocket, making it a practical piece of equipment for any expedition.

Windpack Nylon fabric, DWR hydrophobic coating

Made of extremely lightweight nylon WindPack material with a dense weave, which effectively protects against the wind and minimizes heat loss. The fabric is coated with a DWR coating (Durable Water Repellency) that repels water, limits moisture and dirt absorption, and protects against light rain.

YKK zippers, self-pack

Two-way YKK brand zipper in a Full-zip design facilitates quick jacket wearing and airflow regulation.

The Self-Pack System allows the jacket to be packed into a chest pocket closed with a zipper, allowing for compression to small sizes and convenient transport.

Adjustable hood, elastic cuffs

An adjustable hood with an elastic edging and slightly stiffened peak effectively protects the head from the wind and minor rainfalls.

Elastic cuffs and a drawstring at the bottom provide a better fit to the silhouette and support maintaining optimal thermal comfort.

  • Windpack nylon construction
  • DWR hydrophobic coating
  • Adjustable hood with slightly stiffened peak

Great windbreaker, but not for heavy duty use. The material is quite thin so I wouldn’t rely on it for rough terrain. Perfect packable layer that does exactly what it’s designed for.

The jacket is of very good quality, takes up very little space, is light and copes well with its tasks. From the negatives – the package, it arrived without a pouch.

The Helikon-Tex Tramontane WindPack in Taiga Green is lightweight, wind resistant and well made. It packs down very compactly, is comfortable to wear and reliably serves its purpose as a straightforward windbreaker.

Very lightweight, compact jacket with good wind protection. Ideal for changeable weather and as a quick overlayer on the go. The workmanship feels robust – clear recommendation. Wildwood is a top camo!

The rain jacket is of excellent quality and protects perfectly against the wind. It is compact, so it can easily be put in a pocket and always carried with you in case of sudden weather changes. The material is durable, and an extra fleece or another layer can fit under the jacket without any problem. It fits the figure well.

The jacket is very light – you can hardly feel it on your body, and when packed into its pouch it takes up very little space, so you can easily put it in your backpack or hide it in your trousers. The material provides good wind protection and is partially water-repellent, so it's useful during cooler winds or light rain.

Everything is great, but why the "shiny" logo on a camouflage jacket? If it were black instead, it would still serve its promotional function without standing out and revealing the user's presence. Not to mention people who carefully follow regulations...

The Tramontante jacket is so compact that you can fit it in your pocket, it is lightweight and fits well on the figure. High quality workmanship, protects against light rain and keeps you warm during cooler evenings. It can be easily taken with you and you hardly feel its weight. I definitely recommend it.

Thanks to its small size and light weight, I always have this product with me. It protects well against the wind, so it greatly increases thermal comfort during sudden weather changes.

Another jacket for my collection, this time I chose the colour Taiga Green. Size M fits perfectly over a sweatshirt and sits really well. Overall, it serves its purpose excellently – it protects well against both wind and light rain. A product worthy of recommendation.

I noticed it with my brother-in-law, who is very pleased with it. The jacket is excellent – it takes up little space, is light, and protects well against the wind. The sizing could be better matched; I usually wear L, here M fits perfectly. My son normally wears M, but here it is too big and S is suitable. My son also recommends this product.

Very light, thin, and comfortable jacket when packed. As a single layer on a T-shirt, it may not guarantee full thermal comfort, but when worn even over a thin sweatshirt, it definitely improves comfort. I especially recommend it as a backup for those who care about low weight and breathability. The chest pocket could be a bit bigger to fit a phone. I have used it too briefly to assess durability, but the material seems delicate.

Very good windbreaker: exceptionally lightweight, with a practical option to pack it into its own pocket. It will even fit into a small waist bag, so you can always have it with you. It protects against light rain, but won’t cope with heavy showers. Great for extra warmth during long cycling trips.

This is already the third example of this jacket that I've bought. The first was for me, the next two as gifts, and everyone is satisfied. The biggest advantages are its lightness and compact size when packed. It’s worth remembering that this is not a waterproof jacket.

The jacket is very thin; I use it rather as a short-term protective layer for cooler evenings or light drizzle. A big plus is the ability to stow it in the pocket. It practically weighs nothing. I recommend it.
