I am 176cm tall and weigh 72kg. I ordered an M and it fits perfectly. The material is quite quiet when moving and feels pleasant on the outside. Inside, it's almost entirely mesh, which is also great, and there are lots of ventilation slits that ensure excellent breathability.

I received this jacket as a gift. At a height of 190 cm, the XXL size fits well in terms of length and sleeves, and the Earth/Brown colour blends interestingly with MCDU Desert Night Camo trousers. I must admit that I'm not entirely comfortable with the way the jacket is put on over the head, especially after rain, but it is very comfortable. However, I do have some concerns about its durability, as reviews highlight that although the jacket is supposed to be very robust, someone had it wear through from normal use with a backpack.

Very satisfied. However, I've realised that a size larger would have been better. Bought in size L. I am 193 cm and slim. The sleeves are one or two centimetres too short, the rest fits well. It's for spring/autumn.

This is a really great jacket. Good quality, really well made. This anorak is perfect for when I'm in the countryside and woods with my dog. The size guide is accurate, I'm 6ft tall and slim and it fits perfectly with a jumper and fleece underneath. I've purchased quite a few items from this company and its always been a very professional & smooth transaction. I would highly recommend this company and this jacket.

I already have the black version of this jacket and like it so much I've now bought the green. I really like the chest pockets, all four of them, and the sleeve pockets. All are very useful for storing things. I'm 180cm with a 104cm chest, and the Medium fits well. I like the length at the back, which covers my backside. As it's a pull-on, it's a little bit awkward getting on and off, but the many upsides of this jacket far outweigh that. The material is quite tough, though not waterproof, but I wash it with a waterproofing additive and that increases rain resistance quite a lot.

I am very happy with this jacket. I chose the Taiga Green colour and I've been wearing it for a year and a half now, so I have a well-formed opinion. I am 171 cm tall and weigh 83 kg, and size L fits me perfectly, even if I wear a medium thickness fleece underneath. The jacket is nicely tailored. I really like the zippered underarm ventilation with a mesh insert when opened, which helps regulate temperature during intensive outdoor activities. The pockets are practical – slanted and with an extra zipped pocket underneath. The option to adjust the bottom of the jacket with a drawstring is a great solution – I can lengthen it to protect my back and bottom, or shorten it to the waist by pulling the cord. The spacious front pocket holds a map, buff or gloves. The material is resistant to abrasion and rain – so far it has never let me down and has never soaked through. The jacket is made with great care and attention to detail. I highly recommend it – it's really worth it.

The jacket in size M weighs 1,043 grams, which is only 8 grams more than my old, worn BW parka. In terms of size, they're practically identical – the Pilgrim has a longer back, whereas the German one has plenty of buttons, epaulettes, and brass snaps. But how long can you keep wearing a jacket from 1996? For my height of 170 cm, size M is appropriate, the sleeves are just right, and I can easily wear a 100 fleece, a light Decathlon insulator, and a thick padded vest underneath. The downside, in my opinion, is the Canadian buttons – opening a pocket with one hand is nearly impossible, especially if the other hand isn't fully functional. Snaps, like in BW or Swiss jackets, would have been a much better solution. That's why I'm taking off one star.

The jacket is great. I thought about the Woodsman model for a long time, but in the end I chose the Pilgrim because I found it at a good price. This is my first anorak and I have to admit it does its job. As usual with Helikon, the pocket layout is perfect. Right after buying it, the jacket proved itself during a mountain trip in the first snow. I don’t fully understand their sizing. At 183 cm tall and about 83 kg, I wear an M in the jacket and an L in the fleece. Unfortunately, I can also confirm one of the earlier reviews – after just one trip with a backpack, the back of the jacket started to wear down. That's a bit disappointing for this brand.

This is my first anorak, and the pocket arrangement and easy access to them are big advantages. Great ventilation. I’m curious to see how it performs over longer use. Size XL fits perfectly for someone 170 cm tall and weighing 108 kg, size L was too tight ;)
-
I didn’t expect this jacket to be so fantastic. Excellent for forest trips, won’t soak through even after many hours of rain – water runs off and it dries very quickly. The pockets are practical and very spacious. The back of the jacket is extended, so it protects from the wind and allows you to sit comfortably outside. Size L is good for a tall, slim person. I highly recommend!
-
Very good jacket, I recommend trying it on before buying (I usually wear XL, but the anorak in size L fits perfectly) and waterproofing it before extensive use. Apart from that, the jacket is great and has an attractive price. I recommend it.
-
Perfect jacket for intensive forest use – it has no trouble with bushes. There are loads of practical pockets and plenty of options for ventilation or retaining warmth. It also works brilliantly as an extra 'glove' for the top. Size S is just right for 167 cm and 73 kg. The jacket is easier to put on if the underarm vents are undone.
-
This anorak is great. Material, colour, pocket layout – everything works. Unfortunately, even after exchanging from 2XL to 3XL I haven’t solved my problem – people with a larger build and bigger belly may have trouble. Even at maximum expansion at the waist it's tight, and trying to add another layer underneath just makes it worse. Maybe if the cut was more barrel-shaped, I’d wear it everywhere. But after buying 3XL, common sense prevailed and now I have to look for other solutions or wait for a 4XL to appear. In short – it’s worth buying the anorak from Helikon as long as you can still fit in it.
-
This is one of my favourite jackets for the forest, but it also works great in the city. The large number of pockets makes organising and carrying equipment much easier. However, it is quite long, roomy and heavy, so I don't recommend it for summer.
-
The jacket made a great impression on me. I had doubts about the size – it’s a bit narrow, but long. I chose size S at 63 kg and 174 cm tall – overall it fits. Putting a fleece underneath isn’t very comfortable, it’s better to wear more 'slippery' clothes underneath as you can pull the anorak off together with them. I recommend it.
