Good day, the OTP trousers are great – they fit well and adapt to the figure. The material is stretchy, so it doesn't restrict movement, although it rustles a bit when walking. The pockets seem to be arranged similarly to the UTP model, which I have been using for a long time. The front, longitudinal thigh pocket is large enough to easily fit a bigger smartphone (in the older UTPs, this was a problem). The sizing is fine – XXL long fits a person 186 cm tall with a waist circumference of 104 cm. Thank you.
Helikon OTP VersaStretch Trousers - Earth Brown
Outdoor Tactical Trousers are the modern version of the popular UTP (Urban Tactical Trousers) model. Unlike UTP trousers, the OTP variant is made from fabric utilizing 4-Way Elastic technology, offering flexibility in all directions, quick drying, shape retention, as well as lightweight and breathability. The addition of Teflon in the fabric increases resistance to dirt and stains. Thanks to the thoughtful arrangement of numerous pockets, the trousers are perfect for urban environments as well as outdoor activities.
Above-average freedom of movement and durability
A great combination of military and civilian clothing features â discreet cut while maintaining the functionality of cargo trousers.
Innovative design, carefully planned seams, and high-quality fabric guarantee exceptional freedom of movement and durability.
10 spacious pockets
The trousers feature ten pockets:
- two classic mesh pockets on the hips with reinforced edges
- four on the thighs (two large mesh pockets with zippers and two narrower ones with Velcro closures)
- four located at the back (two large mesh pockets and two narrower internal ones)
Additionally, at knee level, inside the legs, there are pockets that allow for the insertion of protective pads.
Easy fit of the trousers to the figure
Instead of a button, a wide Velcro strap is used, allowing for a 6 cm waist adjustment. Additionally, an elastic band is sewn into the waist, ensuring a better fit to the body.
The two front belt loops have additional loops at the bottom, allowing for the attachment of accessories such as a carabiner.

The trousers are of very good quality and worth their price. They work great both for everyday wear in the city and during outings in the fresh air. They are well made, and the materials used provide thermal comfort, dry quickly when wet and are flexible enough not to pinch around the crotch or knees. I definitely recommend them.

These trousers are fantastic! They fit perfectly, as if they were a second skin, are very comfortable, and surprisingly pleasant to the touch, even though they are made entirely of synthetic fibres. I am glad that they have the same pocket layout as other Helikon models – that's a big plus (narrow Velcro pocket at the front, larger cargo pocket set a bit towards the back), although the Velcro is a bit stiffer than before, but I hope it will soften over time. Overall, I highly recommend them, especially if you can get them on sale.

Great trousers! This is already my fourth pair of Helikon OTP: black, Crimson Sky/Black, Shadow Grey, and these current ones. They are much lighter than the older versions in black or Shadow Grey. The cut and finish of the Crimson Sky/Black and Shadow Grey remain the same compared to older OTPs, but it seems they fit the body better – almost like a second skin. I definitely recommend them!

Very good trousers. The material is extremely comfortable, allows full freedom of movement, nothing restricts. High-quality material, carefully sewn seams. The pockets are practical. The style is excellent.

Exceptionally comfortable. The size matches what is given in the table on the website. Does not restrict movement. There is the option to put on an extra insulating layer underneath.

These are really great trousers for hiking. The fabric's flexibility contributes to wearing comfort. The pockets are very well positioned and they have a stylish appearance.

This has been my go-to opinion for a long time, but it's really worth writing. The trousers are very comfortable and look great, they aren’t narrow – these are not skinny jeans, but real cargo trousers, which is exactly how they should be. For me, at 176 cm tall and 78 kg, size M 33/32 fits perfectly and sits well on the hips. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable. The size matches the table provided on the website. They do not restrict freedom of movement. You can put an additional insulating layer underneath.

These trousers are an investment for many years. They are the best I have ever owned. There are no flaws to be found. World-class, just like the shop itself.

Great trousers. This is already my third pair – I have black, grey Shadow Grey and these red ones. Unfortunately, the quality of stitching on the grey ones leaves much to be desired: the threads break, even though they're not used intensively. That's a big minus! The black ones, however, have been reliable for years – whether in the mountains, at the climbing wall, or for everyday wear – they're unbeatable! I hope the new pair will be just as good, despite certain reservations from friends ;)

This is already my third pair. Over the years the material has changed slightly, but I don't see this as either a plus or a minus. The trousers are very stretchy, comfortable and look good. They don't work well in hot weather, but for spring, autumn and winter they're excellent.

Really nice trousers stretching in four directions. Solidly made, light and almost unnoticeable when worn. The large number of useful pockets is an additional advantage.

The Helikon OTP VersaStretch trousers in Olive Green are a very good choice! They are super comfortable and stretchy, great for outdoor activities and everyday wear. The durable material and practical shade make them versatile and reliable trousers.

The best trousers I’ve had so far. They are lightweight, flexible and exceptionally comfortable. The pockets are arranged so that all your daily essentials fit with no problem. The phone pockets fit, for example, an S25U and iPhone16pro. The original idea is to have a Velcro waistband instead of a button. The double stitching on the pockets ensures they won’t wear out from a watch, gloves or knife. There are also extra loops for carabiners. As for sizing – the flexible waistband and Velcro let you fit the trousers well. Suitable for the forest, mountains, shooting range and work, even as casual office wear. Compared to other BDU trousers, they outshine the competition. As for rustling – they’re definitely quieter than M65 ripstop.
