The cap is made of high-quality PoliCotton RipStop material (60% cotton, 40% polyester), which is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing, and is also lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton material. It will be perfect as protection for the head on sunny days.
This cap will also be perfect for forest hikes, insulating your head from falling leaves as well as protecting your head from intrusive insects. Inside the cap is a hidden pocket that allows you to hide, for example, a map.
In the back of the cap is sewn velcro tape allowing you to attach any emblems, such as the national flag, the emblem of the unit or the so-called Morale Patches, so you can give your cap an individual character.
The patrol cap is made in the Universal Camouflage Pattern color scheme, which is used by line troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Camouflage UCP
UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.

This is already my second one of these (I lost the previous one). Plus for the availability of large sizes (I wear size 62). Comfortable cap, fits the head well. Very nice hidden pocket. It may be a bit too warm in hot weather.

The cap is very well made. The material is strong and the sewing is precise. In my opinion, patrol caps are more comfortable than traditional peaked caps. There is an interesting pocket inside. I recommend it.
