A rain cape made of waterproof polyamide to protect you from getting wet even in very heavy rain. Version for tourists traveling with a backpack
The cape has a fully adjustable hood with a visor. There is a zippered pocket on the chest, additionally protected by a batten. When the pocket is turned to the left side, it can serve as a cover for the cape. On the back, an additional space has been designed in the form of a detachable hump, the purpose of which is to protect the backpack from rain. It can be tucked away if you do not currently have your luggage with you.
The sides of the poncho can be fastened together using 4 Velcro fasteners to form comfortable sleeves. In addition, on the front of the cape there is a short 28 cm zipper covered by a strip.
When folded, the poncho takes up little space and weighs less than a standard rain jacket. It is worth having it at hand not only when spending time among wildlife, but also in a bicycle pannier or even in the car just in case.

The whole thing is the right size (I am 178 cm tall); a 28l backpack fits easily inside and does not take up all the space. The backpack cover can be hidden behind a zip under Velcro, so it does not stick out. The Velcro at the legs and sleeves adjusts everything well, and an extra Velcro on the strap between the legs improves the fit and prevents the material from flapping.
