The Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) patch has been precision-cut using the Laser Cut method from abrasion-resistant nylon. Thanks to the Velcro used, it can be easily attached to a tactical vest, backpack or any piece of equipment that is equipped with a Velcro-compatible surface.
These types of patches are used by soldiers and officers of other services as a complement to patches identifying the unit. They have the function of integrating the team and raising morale, and sometimes they are also an expression of soldierly humor.
