The Kydex insert combined with the open-top design provides appropriate retention of carried contents, allowing for easy insertion and removal. The fabric coating suppresses radiation in the wavelength range that can be detected by thermal sensors, reducing the risk of detection at night or in areas monitored by IRR sensors.
