Bolle X1000DE Double Lens Tactical Goggles
Bolle X1000DE Double Lens Tactical Goggles
Tactical safety goggles equipped with a transparent panoramic visor made of two polycarbonate layers. The outer layer has a scratch-resistant coating, while the inner layer prevents fogging. They provide excellent protection against impacts, fragments, and UV radiation. The frame is made of TPV elastomer, known for its flexibility, durability, and resistance to high temperatures. The goggles have an elastic strap that ensures a secure fit and comfortable transport.
Double polycarbonate layer, EQUALIZER technology
The panoramic visor consists of an outer 2.95 mm layer and an inner 1.3 mm layer, made from durable polycarbonate, providing high ballistic resistance. EQUALIZER technology with an integrated ventilation system equalizes atmospheric pressure between the layers and eliminates moisture and condensation. The visor allows 90% visible light transmission, ensuring comfort in indoor environments. It is marked according to European eye protection standards as 2C-1.2 1 BT KN, offers UV protection, and belongs to optical class 1. It is also resistant to medium-energy impacts, fogging, and scratches.
TPV frame, ventilation system with filtration
The frame made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPV) is designed for a close facial fit. The ventilation system with filtration, integrated with EQUALIZER technology, enhances user comfort and reduces the risk of visor fogging. The frame meets the requirements of the European standard EN166 3 BT, confirming compliance with protective goggle standards in terms of mechanical strength, optics, and construction. Additionally, it effectively protects against liquid splashes and high-speed particle impacts.
The 35 mm wide strap is made of nylon and polyester, and the quick-release system facilitates easy donning and removal. An additional microfiber cover on the strap protects the visor from contaminants.

Standards and certifications
The Bolle X1000E Double Lens model meets the following standards:
- STANAG 2920 (V50 990 km/h - 275 m/s) - NATO standard defining ballistic resistance testing methods, especially for fragment impacts. The V50 test on these goggles determined the speed at which the projectile has a 50% chance of penetrating the visor at 990 km/h - 275 m/s.
- GL-PD-10-12 - designation of the American military standard MCEPS, which specifies requirements for ballistic eye protection. This number is assigned to glasses or goggles that withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter metal ball traveling at a speed of 660 feet per second (approximately 201 m/s).
- ANSI Z87.1 - American civilian standard, concerning personal eye and face protection utilised in work and education. Defines requirements for impact resistance, optical clarity, frame durability, and product marking criteria.
- EN 166 - European standard defining requirements for protective glasses and goggles, ensuring proper eye protection in various work environments and hazardous situations. Also specifies design, construction, testing, and marking requirements for these products.
- EN 170 - European standard that is part of the broader EN 166 standard. Concerns protective filters against UV radiation in protective glasses and goggles. Specifies visible light transmission requirements and recommendations for UV filters.
- 2C-1.2 1 BT KN - indicates protection against UV radiation while maintaining good colour visibility (2C), index 1.2 indicates clear lenses. Optical class 1 indicates suitability for continuous use with high optical quality and minimal image distortion. BT confirms resistance to medium-energy impacts at extreme temperatures, with N meaning resistance to fogging and K to scratching.
- EN 166 3 BT - indication of compliance with general requirements for protective goggles in terms of mechanical strength, optics, and construction. Mark 3 indicates the goggles protect against splashes or liquid droplets, B symbolizes resistance to medium-energy particle impacts, and T ensures the same resistance, even when combined with corrective glasses.
- CE - confirms the product's compliance with technical requirements and safety standards applicable in the EU.
- Light transmission - the visor of the goggles is characterized by the ability to transmit 90% of visible light.
- UV protection - the visor fully protects against UV radiation (blocks at least 99.9%).
