Bennon Terenno High Shoes - Green. This is my third purchase of Bennon Terenno shoes. The second pair in green. The shoes are used very intensively in the field—woodland, gravel, often wet terrain. The latest pair is slightly different, in my opinion, better. The rubberised toe cap is shorter, but protects as well as the previous version and doesn't bend the leather part of the upper, which means no cracking. The patches have been replaced with a thermal print, meaning there are no areas that can be accidentally snagged. The manufacturer's impregnation is still as good as ever. So I don’t need to do it myself, and I don't. I just use them. I keep coming back to Bennon because I can't find other shoes that are as well made, available, and leather. They support the ankle. Durable. Not "space-age". Not "gimmicky". Not "specialised". Just shoes, simply! They have everything shoes for "forest and gravel" should have, plus new technologies like Vibram. In the photos, you can see a shoe after three years of intensive use vs. a shoe after three weeks. No extra impregnation. Militaria deliveries (?). As always. Next day delivery to a parcel locker. It's honestly surprising that it's possible to do it so fast.

These boots are an interesting option for walking in more challenging terrain. They are more like trekking footwear than typical tactical boots, so their adaptation to demanding terrain is at a high level. I've heard different opinions about their light weight, but in my opinion, they are not lightweight – a single boot weighs about 680g. Although this is not very heavy, the first impression is of a solid construction and a certain heaviness, which is due to the durable, thick Vibram sole with a deep tread. The boots are factory-impregnated, but this protection is not especially long-lasting, so it’s worth applying an additional treatment after purchase. A practical solution is the three lace hooks on one side, which make them easier to put on and take off. After several months of use, including in winter, nothing has come apart. Currently, I am very satisfied with them.

I have been using them for a few weeks. They are not suitable for winter, at -4°C when standing at a bus stop after 20 minutes my fingers start to freeze. But if you are constantly moving, you won't get cold, optimally not less than -7°C. They are a bit stiff in the casing and you need to get used to them and break them in. They are strong (at least that's my current impression), great in bad weather. They breathe well, don’t get sweaty. So far I'm satisfied, but I wouldn’t consider them winter gear, which disappoints me.

The shoes are very comfortable and, for trekking footwear, exceptionally sleek. As a woman, I really appreciate that they are not heavy or bulky shoes. They are very comfortable to walk in, and the sole really cushions all the imperfections of the ground. The sizing is standard – I chose one size larger as I like to use extra insoles. However, this is not necessary, because the shoes themselves are extremely comfortable! I recommend them!

At the moment, I am satisfied with these shoes. They fit much better than standard military boots, have typically outdoor soles, and are solidly made, although they are a bit heavy. The set includes two additional pairs of laces. The insole length in size 42, according to my measurement, is 27.5 cm, while the manufacturer states 27 cm – it's worth keeping this in mind. I can't yet judge their durability as I've used them for too short a time. They are made of fairly smooth nubuck and have a factory impregnation, but in the future it would be better to buy an impregnation suitable for this type of leather when the original one wears off.

The boots are very well made and look great. They're not too heavy, and the sizing is standard. The parcel arrived quickly, although the product could have been packaged better – luckily both boots arrived safely.

Purchased in June 2024. At first, they were very comfortable, but after walking a few lighter routes, it turned out that one of the shoes is either shorter or curled up near the toes, which causes pressure and discomfort (although the size is correct). They are rather heavy, so I will not use them for demanding trips. On the plus side – so far, they have not leaked, provide great foot stability and do not slip. Many advantages, however, the discomfort and tired feet mean I won't use them for longer walks.

Great shoes. I have to admit that this is my first nubuck model, so caring for them has been a perfect lesson in patience for me. However, it's worth it, because after walking around 50 km in the heat, my feet didn't sweat, nor did I get any irritation. The sole absorbs shocks very well, but despite being sturdy, it allows you to feel the ground well – which gives better balance. The boots are massive and tough on the outside, but soft and comfortable inside. I think they're suitable for every type of foot – I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly, and others mentioned they're great for wide feet too. It's worth investing in a dedicated brush and special wax as well as impregnator for nubuck, and first checking how to properly impregnate this type of leather, as although it's more durable than suede, it's easy to damage. The insoles match the description. I'm very happy with the purchase and highly recommend them.

The shoes look great – both in terms of quality and appearance. It's also worth highlighting the excellent price and high level of comfort. Since my husband started wearing them, he hasn't chosen any other shoes. They work perfectly even in frosty weather. I highly recommend them with a clear conscience.

It's awful – I've never had boots where the laces don't hold at all and come undone after just a few steps. I have to tie them around the ankle and make an extra loop because with normal tying, they immediately come undone. A very uncomfortable solution.

These are the best winter boots I've ever had. They work not only in wintry conditions, but also in all challenging weather. They're very comfortable, waterproof, and easy to clean. Living in Iceland, I can't imagine life without them. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone!

The shoes survived a year of intensive hiking in the mountains of New Zealand, including climbing in rocky terrain. They are comfortable, stable, and do not slip. They are better suited for cooler conditions. After 8-9 months I had to replace the insoles due to a hole in the heel.

Shoes bought in spring 2023 already have cracked leather at the front near the rubber protection and are beginning to leak. I only used them a few times on gentle trails in the Sudetes and in Silesian fields – mainly on dry paths. They were properly maintained. Initially, I was delighted, but unfortunately at some point the leather couldn't take it anymore.

The shoes work great for trips to the forest. After waterproofing, the leather took on a slightly black shade, which I actually like. Good cushioning. At this price, it’s a great purchase.

The shoes are very well made, size matches the chart, and they are already factory impregnated, which is a big plus. Bennon is a brand that speaks for itself. Now I just need to wait for frost to test them more thoroughly.
