Scout compasses and prismatic compasses

Scout compasses and compasses are basic navigational instruments that are used by scouts and non-scouts alike on hikes, camping trips and various outdoor games. The compass will also work well as a makeshift spirit level, simply lay it on a flat surface and the bubble inside will indicate the level.

A compass and a scout compass will work well in places where modern technology fails, such as remote hiking trails. The use of these instruments can also become an enrichment not only for scout meetings, but also for ordinary excursions with a map and compass or compass, without relying on GPS navigation.
