Durable fire starter with a wide, long rod and a convenient striker – great quality. Additionally, I'm glad that it comes from a Polish manufacturer.

Za-Pas Mig-Mag Flint - Black
A flint that generates an intense stream of sparks, allowing you to light a fire quickly and effectively. Great for camping and outdoor expeditions, as well as in emergency situations. With it, you can light a gas stove, tourist stove or light a campfire, which will provide warmth and allow you to prepare a meal away from home.
Strong rod and stainless steel spark gap
The bar, measuring 9.5 x 72 mm, provides a larger surface area for flaring sparks (compared to smaller models), allowing you to light a fire up to 3,000 times. The spark rod is made of high-quality stainless steel, hardened to a hardness of 56-58 HRC, and its two curved edges are designed to generate sparks. Withjust two moves, you can generate sparks of 3000 degrees Celsius, which, when in contact with the prepared fire starter, will make it possible to light a fire even in difficult conditions such as heavy frost or rain.

The Za-Pas Mig-Mag fire starter is solid and reliable. It produces a lot of sparks even in tough conditions and is easy to use. It works perfectly during survival situations, camping, or field trips.

This is a solid and reliable piece of equipment that works great in the field. Its robust construction and the large number of sparks it generates make this fire starter one of the best available in Poland. If you need a proven tool for lighting a fire, it's definitely worth investing in. I recommend it.

I use the Za-Pas fire starter and I'm very satisfied. It produces strong sparks so it's easy to start a fire even in tougher conditions. It's small in size, durable, and convenient to carry – a great choice for camping and trips.

Excellent and sturdy fire starter, additionally made in Poland, and costs as much as Chinese competition. I believe it offers the best price-to-quality ratio. Good because it's local!

This firestarter definitely deserves a very good rating, but it also has a certain flaw. The rod is thick, and the striker is excellent, with clearly sharp edges on both sides. Unfortunately, the rod wears down faster than I would expect, considering the price. Nevertheless, right now this is the best firestarter available in Poland, mainly thanks to the excellent striker.

I decided to buy this firestarter after reading many positive reviews and I have to confirm them – it sparks more easily than other models I’ve had. The thick rod and good striker perform their roles perfectly.

I have several fire starters, from the cheapest Chinese ones to branded Wildo and Light My Fire. In my opinion, Za-Pas matches Wildo in terms of thickness (great fire starter), but their striker/scraper outshines the competition. With a scraper like this, you have a portable 'welder.' The rod is long, which makes it comfortable to generate sparks. The intense orange color is a big plus – hard to lose in the field. The price is high, but as they say: better to invest once than buy cheap replacements.

Polish means the best. The fire starter produces a powerful spark and has a great scraper with sharp edges. Sturdy rod and comfortable handles, both on the scraper and the fire starter. Currently, in my opinion, the best choice on the market when it comes to fire starters. It costs a bit, but it's a long-term buy. I'm happy and recommend it – Polish craftsmanship!

A solid rod and an equally good scraper. Using this set to start a fire is pure pleasure. I'm writing a review for the pink model because no one has rated it yet :-) I used to have the black one (it's probably still around somewhere), now I have the orange one and I don't think the pink one will be any different.

Very good scraper. I saw Wildo in use on YouTube and I have to admit that Za-Pas generates sparks just as effectively. The scraper is excellent. It works great both on the Za-Pas rod and on others that I own – it's a true 'welder'.
-
A very high-quality firestarter. Its main features are a thick and long rod, which lasts a long time, and an excellent scraper, which truly makes a difference here. I definitely recommend it!
-
Great fire starter - big and solid. Important, since on my first purchase I chose wrong – a small fire starter didn't work at all. It needs to be big enough to use comfortably – those tiny ones just aren't suitable.
-
Very good fire starter – a long, solid rod and a good striker provide a strong spark. High-quality Polish production. I sincerely recommend it, let's support domestic manufacturers!

Very good fire starter. It’s really not much different from Wildo. In both Wildo and Za-Pas, the key role is played by the scraper. I also have a Mil Tec, but that scraper is useless, while these can produce a nice shower of sparks.
