It's worth buying, especially since you can find it at attractive prices. I think it's an essential item for any trip. I bought it as an addition to my first aid kit. However, I miss instructions in Polish showing how to properly remove a tick, because often there is no signal in the forest.

It looks like an interesting gadget ;-), I decided to buy it because I'm not convinced about removing ticks with tweezers. So far, I haven't had a tick (at least as far as I know ;-)) and I hope it stays that way, but having this makes me feel prepared. I also ordered one for a friend who has a dog, so she'll try it in practice, and then I'll be sure about it.

The tick remover seems durable and well-designed. It's good that it has a magnifying glass — it could be a bit bigger, but the important thing is that it’s included, because not every one has it.

After testing I must admit, it does the job. It’s better than tweezers since it’s hard to crush the tick. The magnifying glass is useful, though poorly attached. It works, but for very small ticks it may be too big. The main minus is the price – could be lower.

This is something that should be in every backpack of those who hike in the woods. Hopefully not needed, but if necessary, it easily removes ticks. Plus for the magnifying glass and low weight and small size.

Small and inconspicuous, this tick remover works great in EDC. You can easily remove even a very small tick. Tweezers create a higher risk of damaging the tick. A must-have for forest trips.
