MILITARY is a distributor of SOG.
SOG is an American brand founded in 1986 by Spencer Frazer, inspired by the equipment of special units during the Vietnam War. Its first design was created in collaboration with Japanese master blacksmith Ichiro Hattori and made a lasting mark in the history of tactical equipment. SOG gained widespread recognition with the SEAL 2000 model, adopted to equip Navy SEALs and displayed today in the unit's museum at Fort Pierce. The brand's offerings include advanced multitools that use the patented Compound Leverage technology, which nearly doubles the force of pressure through the use of double pivot points. SOG products are distinguished by their robustness, reliability and precision workmanship.

I have mixed feelings. I was tempted by the good reputation for quality, the opening mechanism known from the SOG Terminus, innovative pliers, and the bit mounting method like in the PowerAccess SOG. The attractive price during Black Week was also important—after all the discounts, it came out to 267 PLN, and that's the maximum amount this multitool is worth. The regular price (380 PLN) is definitely too high. The idea behind the assisted pliers and D2 blade is great, but the execution doesn't impress. At first, the blade worked with resistance, and then started to open by itself after unlocking the mechanism—it basically became a spring-assisted knife! I decided not to return it because the lock works well, so accidental opening isn't a risk. Unfortunately, the bit magazine is a dud—it's hard to remove a bit without bending the plastic, which makes the solution weak. The bottle opener also leaves much to be desired—it opens and closes easily, in my opinion too easily. To sum up—SOG Flash MT is not something I would recommend.

The multitool is very practical and original in terms of appearance, which distinguishes it from other tools. It is comfortable to use and well made. I definitely recommend always having it with you, as it can handle any situation.
