The saw deserves 5 stars. I used it for various jobs, especially in the garden, but I also cut a few logs. It is very ergonomic and well balanced. My wife uses it too and is very pleased with it.

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Silky.
Silky is a Japanese manufacturer of hand saws with a long tradition, with origins dating back to 1919, when Katsuji Miyawaki founded the company in the city of Ono. For over one hundred years, the brand has built a reputation for reliability and precision, and its tools stand out for exceptional build quality. The saws are made from top-grade steel and use impulse hardening of the teeth (impulse hardening), which, combined with a design intended for "pull" cutting, ensures smooth operation and precise, clean cuts. In 1980, Silky patented its proprietary saw setting process, which significantly increases tool sharpness — this solution was used, among others, in the 4-Retsume and Miraime2 models. The Japanese manufacturer's solutions are used by professionals worldwide: arborists, foresters, carpenters, and bushcraft enthusiasts. It is worth mentioning that in 1985 the "Gomboy" model was the first on the market to receive a rubber-coated handle, which contributed to winning the prestigious Japanese Good Design Award. Thanks to the combination of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern technological solutions, Silky has ranked among the leading hand saw manufacturers for years.

I don’t have much experience with saws, so it’s hard for me to compare it to anything, but this model surprised me very positively. It does its job excellently, is compact, and comes with a practical case.

Because the Bigboy is too large for some occasions and doesn't fit into all of my backpacks, I got the Gomboy-270. Thanks to the plastic case, this one can also be stored very well. The quality is beyond question. For me, it's the perfect addition.
-
Very good saw, comfortable when folded, the case effectively protects against unexpected opening. Once unfolded, the saw is locked, so it won’t accidentally fold. It cuts effectively as long as you follow the manufacturer’s instructions and saw in the proper direction—pushing too hard can cause the blade to bend.
-
Very good saw – it is lightweight, has protection against accidental folding, and when used according to the manufacturer's instructions, it cuts exceptionally effectively. After several uses, it remains sharp, and an additional advantage is the rubberized handle and practical case.

Durable and precise, handles every type of wood perfectly. It's compact and lightweight, so it's easy to take with you – it works well on a plot, camping, and during fieldwork.
-
The saw works perfectly – its sharp blade allows for quick and effortless cutting even of larger trunks. The interchangeable blade is an additional advantage of this product.

This is a very sturdy saw that handles larger pieces of wood well. It is very sharp and holds its sharpness for a long time (I've been using it for over a year). The case is durable and protects the saw well. Since the saw is quite flexible, you should be careful when cutting quickly not to break the blade.
-
A big advantage is the plastic case and the ability to change blades. The saw is very solidly made, and the shipping was lightning fast. Highly recommended, Paweł!

Really great saw, the Silky brand lives up to expectations... The size is very universal — offers a lot of possibilities, yet remains handy and lightweight.

Top-shelf equipment. Appreciated by many bushcraft enthusiasts. In my opinion, it has the perfect size for cutting medium-thick sticks for a campfire, and it can handle thicker ones too. Before first use, it's worth watching a tutorial – these saws don't forgive mistakes and it's very easy to break the blade.
-
The saw is durable and easy to use. It cuts larger and thicker branches without any problem. It works perfectly as a backup for an axe. I definitely recommend it.
-
The saw is solidly made, you can feel the high quality in your hand. It handles cutting excellently. It's an essential piece of gear for every outdoor and travel enthusiast. As always, lightning-fast order fulfillment from Military – I recommend it!
