Instructions for use: first, soak the stone in water (or simply spray) or apply sharpening oil. Set the whetstone on a stable surface. To sharpen, glide the knife (applying light pressure) back and forth over the stone, alternating sides. Maintain an appropriate knife angle (15 degrees-30 degrees) during sharpening.
