The stone is large, easy to sharpen on, solidly made, and shows no visible flaws. The only downside is the price – it’s not the cheapest, and in some cases it costs more than diamond products.
Double-sided whetstone with grit levels of 2000 and 5000. The abrasive surface measures 18 centimeters by 6 centimeters.
- The 2000 grit is intended for smoothing the blade and preparing it for finer polishing.
- The 5000 grit is used for polishing the blade to a highly sharp edge and finishing the grind.
Featuring the enhanced hardness of the SHARPI stone as per the Japanese JIS R6001 standard, ensures quicker sharpening and reduced wear and tear. The set includes a stand to keep the whetstone stable during use.
Instructions for use: Either soak the stone in water (just a splash) or utilize sharpening oil. Place the whetstone on a flat surface. To sharpen, glide the knife over the stone with light pressure, alternating sides of the knife. Aim to maintain a consistent angle of 15 to 30 degrees while sharpening.

The stone works flawlessly, fulfills its function, sharpens well and causes no trouble during use. It doesn't chip or crack, everything is fine. The base is solid, the stone doesn't slip, you can sharpen with ease.

I'm not a knife collector, but it sharpens both my Morakniv and Victorinox knives very well. Although some sharpening stones are very expensive, this one is perfect for sharpening bushcraft and EDC knives.

I also have a 600/2000 sharpening stone from the same brand – that one works perfectly, and this one a bit differently, which is why only 4 stars. It sharpens just as well as the previous one. The 3000 grit is fine, but after sharpening three knives on the 1000 side, clear wear appeared – I don't know if this stone is just that soft or if I just got a softer piece? Despite this, I generally recommend it.

I recommend this product – it's my first sharpening stone, I bought it because I wanted to sharpen knives differently than with regular sharpeners, and this stone works very well.
