The knife/sheath is very sturdy. It's quite heavy, which I believe is a good thing. The raw steel finish adds character. The flat grind that runs about one third of the blade's length makes it great at cutting, even though the blade is rather thick. It's very sharp straight out of the box. Another plus is the band-aid included in the set. The leather sheath looks very nice. The downside is the handle scales, which are rather slippery. I've already bought three of these for friends and everyone is happy with them.

The knife is very solidly made, exceptionally sharp. As soon as you hold it, you can feel it's a powerful tool for tough tasks. Truly worth recommending.
