Pentagon Artaxes Jacket - Midnight Blue
A Lightweight hooded jacket in Midnight Blue, crafted from robust Softshell fabric. Featuring an integrated StormTex membrane, it provides water resistance up to 8000 mm/m2 and a breathability rating of 5000 g/m2. The exterior is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, offering protection from moisture and dirt. Inside, a soft fleece lining with Grid-Tech technology ensures effective protection against wind and rain while delivering excellent thermal insulation.
8 spacious pockets
This design features 8 functional pockets:
- a pair located at chest level,
- a pair on each shoulder,
- one positioned on the left forearm,
- two interior pockets, one equipped with a headphone port,
- and one on the back, also known as a poacher's pocket, situated near the lumbar region.
Every pocket is secured with zippers.
Two-way zipper, ventilation openings
The primary closure is a two-way zipper from YKK. The collar features a soft fabric guard designed to protect the chin. Beneath the arms, there are ventilation openings equipped with zippers and lined with Mesh fabric to enhance airflow and facilitate temperature control.
Adjustable hood, high collar, reflective element
A high collar paired with a three-point adjustable hood offers comfort even in heavy rain and strong winds. The cold weather protection is bolstered by hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and drawcords at the hem and in the hood. For added safety in low-visibility conditions, a detachable reflective element on the hood is included.
Velcro panels
Velcro panels on the shoulders enable the attachment of patches like flags, unit insignias, or morale patches, offering a personalized touch to the jacket.

I have had this jacket for over 5 years and the only thing that broke were the Velcro fasteners on the cuffs. I fixed them with fishing line and I still use the jacket. I've worn it in really tough conditions and it performs excellently. Highly recommended.

The jacket looks great, the color is very attractive. It has a sufficient number of pockets, and the zippers under the arms allow you to regulate the temperature. I was considering buying this type of jacket for a long time, and I have to admit that the promotion finally convinced me. It's perfect for warmer days, but I also tried it at -10 degrees with an extra layer underneath and I didn't get cold during the walk. Size XXL is suitable for a height of 185 cm and a chest circumference of 129 cm, with a little room left for clothes under the jacket. The package arrived very quickly.

The jacket is quite good and serves its purpose, but I was disappointed with the Velcro fasteners – they don't hold, they keep coming undone and it's hard to adjust the sleeve. The jacket itself is comfortable and useful, but I had to sell it precisely because of these Velcro fasteners.

I tested it during heavy rain conditions typical for the Genoa lowlands and in strong winds by the sea. At a temperature of +10°C and high winds, I didn’t feel any discomfort.
