Pentagon Artaxes Jacket - Midnight Blue

A Lightweight hooded jacket in Midnight Blue, crafted from robust Softshell fabric. Featuring an integrated StormTex membrane, it provides water resistance up to 8000 mm/m2 and a breathability rating of 5000 g/m2. The exterior is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, offering protection from moisture and dirt. Inside, a soft fleece lining with Grid-Tech technology ensures effective protection against wind and rain while delivering excellent thermal insulation.

8 spacious pockets

This design features 8 functional pockets:

  • a pair located at chest level,
  • a pair on each shoulder,
  • one positioned on the left forearm,
  • two interior pockets, one equipped with a headphone port,
  • and one on the back, also known as a poacher's pocket, situated near the lumbar region.

Every pocket is secured with zippers.

Two-way zipper, ventilation openings

The primary closure is a two-way zipper from YKK. The collar features a soft fabric guard designed to protect the chin. Beneath the arms, there are ventilation openings equipped with zippers and lined with Mesh fabric to enhance airflow and facilitate temperature control.

Adjustable hood, high collar, reflective element

A high collar paired with a three-point adjustable hood offers comfort even in heavy rain and strong winds. The cold weather protection is bolstered by hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and drawcords at the hem and in the hood. For added safety in low-visibility conditions, a detachable reflective element on the hood is included.

Velcro panels

Velcro panels on the shoulders enable the attachment of patches like flags, unit insignias, or morale patches, offering a personalized touch to the jacket.

    This jacket is fantastic. I bought it for my boyfriend, but in the end I kept it for myself. The XXL size is a bit too big for my height of 186 cm, but I like looser fits. It is really warm, and the inner fleece provides extra thermal comfort. There are enough pockets that you can easily do without a handbag. The workmanship and stitching are of the highest quality. Right after buying it, I tested it in the rain and the water ran off it really well. In my opinion, it is definitely worth buying.

    The build quality is genuinely very good, and the Polish wz.93 Pantera camouflage looks excellent and faithfully reflects the original. The softshell provides great protection against strong wind and light rain, while the soft Grid-Tech fleece lining offers comfortable warmth on cooler days. Also worth praising are the hood hidden in the collar and the well-designed pockets on the shoulders and chest, which are easy to access. As for the drawbacks, the breathability could be a bit better. During more intense walking and in higher temperatures, it can feel too warm, even after opening the underarm vents. It is also worth noting the fairly fitted sizing — if you plan to wear a thicker sweater or fleece under the jacket, it is better to consider a larger size. In summary: this is a durable, functional, and comfortable jacket for spring and autumn. It definitely deserves its price!

    The jacket material is elastic (2-way stretch) and does not restrict movement at all, which is extremely important during active use. The outer layer is treated with a dirt- and water-repellent DWR Teflon Grade 4 coating. During light rain or wet snow, water simply beads off without soaking through to the inside. The StormTex® membrane (8000 mm waterproofness, 5000 g/m² breathability) provides excellent protection against strong wind. Another advantage is the interior. The waffle-structured Grid-Tech® lining retains body heat very well in its “cells,” while at the same time preventing overheating when you are moving actively. If it gets too hot, large underarm ventilation openings with zippers and protective mesh are provided.

    The jacket is warm and feels comfortable against the skin. It does not restrict freedom of movement. The only downside is that the Velcro area on the sleeves is a bit small for attaching patches (flag). The hood can be rolled up and secured with Velcro, which makes the collar comfortable and not bothersome. The sizing is accurate; XL is truly XL. All in all, a good comfortable jacket.

    I am 6 ft 2' (187/188 cm) tall and a slim 84 Kg in weight, I bought this jacket in a large. So far I have only worn a T shirt underneath it, but there is enough/plenty of room to layer up in colder weather. This jacket is generous with sleeve length which with my long arms I require. The jacket is everything I was looking for, its well designed, good quality and at a very reasonable price. The inside zip pockets are large enough to hold my wallet in one and my iphone 11 in the the other. The sleeve pockets are also big enough to hold my phone if I wished, but I just use them to hold my car and house keys. I haven't used the large rear pocket yet, but the breast pockets are large enough for gloves and hat. I cant comment on its water proofing yet, but I didn't buy it for that and if required it is light enough to throw a water proof jacket over it. I think this will make a great travel jacket, where all my documents and every day carries can be stored securely. Hope this helps

    I ordered sizes XXL and XL. I weigh 97 kg, I'm 180 cm tall, and my chest is 115 cm. XXL fits very well. I recommend choosing a larger size because the fit is rather for slim people. I have a bit of a belly, but not too much. XL was too tight and you wouldn't be able to wear a sweatshirt underneath, so I suggest not relying solely on the size chart—it's best to try it on. Overall, I am satisfied with the jacket.
