The Nitecore P20UV V2 flashlight offers a compact, lightweight design featuring a Cree XP-L2 V6 LED with a maximum brightness of 1000 lumens and four ultraviolet (UV) LEDs outputting 320 mW. UV light is particularly useful for detecting counterfeit currency, stains undetectable in daylight, and mineral identification.
The flashlight boasts a maximum beam distance of 164 meters.
It operates on either two CR123A batteries or a single 18650 rechargeable battery (not included).
It includes several primary operating modes along with a strobe function, controlled by a main and an auxiliary switch situated at the rear. A battery charge indicator is located next to the switch at the flashlight’s back.
The body is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with a black HA III coating that resists scratches and impacts. This construction, along with the use of seals, ensures it complies with the IP68 standard and is durable against falls from up to 1 meter. The flashlight’s tube has a diameter of 1" (25.4 mm), offering various mounting possibilities.
Included is the Nitecore NTH20 tactical holster, which facilitates easy daily carrying.
