Mil-Tec Pilot Sleeping Bag - Olive

A durable sleeping bag in Olive color, made in a mummy-style design, provides comfortable body positioning and freedom of movement during sleep. The material is made of high-quality polyester, with a sturdy outer shell and warm insulation for enhanced durability and thermal comfort.

Operating temperatures and usage conditions

The temperature ratings for the Pilot sleeping bag are determined in accordance with ISO 23537-1:2022:

  • T-comfort: 4°C – the temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night without feeling cold
  • T-limit: -1°C – the lowest temperature at which a man can rest during the night without being awakened by the cold
  • T-extreme: -17°C – survival temperature limit, not recommended for routine use

Polyester construction with a soft lining

The shell is made from polyester that is moisture-resistant and easy to keep clean. The inner lining is soft cotton that feels gentle against the skin.

Polyester insulation

Synthetic polyester filling ensures light weight and effective thermal insulation. The quilted construction prevents the filling from shifting, resulting in even heat distribution.

Left-side zipper and protective flap

This model features a two-way zipper on the left side, secured with a Velcro tab. On the inside, a protective flap prevents the material from catching in the zipper and helps reduce heat loss. When unzipped, the sleeping bag can also be used as a comforter, mattress, or shelter tarp, and can be connected to another sleeping bag.

Integrated hood for added protection against the cold

The anatomically shaped hood provides extra shielding to help retain heat around your head.

Easy transport and storage

This model offers convenience both when carrying and storing. Once packed, the sleeping bag measures 40 x 24 x 29 cm and weighs 1700 g, allowing you to move it easily without adding excessive weight to your gear.

    The sleeping bag was aesthetically and carefully packed by the manufacturer, but after unfolding it, I had difficulty rolling it up again as neatly. I did not like the system of rolling it into a cover that is permanently attached to the rest of the sleeping bag. Admittedly, I did not check how well it insulates, but it seems to me that due to the thin filling, it will not provide enough warmth. The inside is indeed pleasant to the touch, while the material on the outside is stiff and rustles. Ultimately, I returned the sleeping bag.
