Military jacket crafted by the German company Mil-Tec, inspired by the iconic M65 model utilized by the US military since the Vietnam War.
Constructed from a combination of cotton and polyester, the outer layer features a durable fabric made up of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. In contrast, the lining is composed of pure cotton. A notable feature of this model is the Thermo Liner, which is filled with polyester insulation weighing 170 g. The liner is removable, allowing for year-round wear.
The design includes four spacious pockets secured with snaps:
- two at the waist,
- two at chest height.
The main closure is a sturdy zipper, covered by a flap with snaps to block wind from entering the jacket. A drawstring at the waist and hem also helps shield against wind.
Velcro closures on the cuffs enable size adjustment to fit the wearer's wrist thickness. The jacket features a high collar, concealing a hood. Epaulettes are present on the shoulders.
The M65 jacket is a genuine legend—practical, comfortable, roomy, durable. It has amassed a global following. Interestingly, it has appeared in numerous films and TV series, donned by characters portrayed by actors such as Sylvester Stallone in Rambo, Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver, or Bronislaw Cieslak in 07 zgłoś się.
