Temperature range for Nordkapp sleeping bag according to EN 23537 standard:
- T-comfort: 8 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: 4 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -1 deg. C - not the least recommended temperature for use, allowing for survival.
Nylon 20D with Water Repellent Coating
Light nylon 20D is coated with a hydrophobic WR layer (Water Repellent) both inside and outside. Waterproofing the material reduces moisture penetration. Inside, you'll find a small pocket for small accessories and loops for attaching an additional warming insert.
Filled with duck down, H-shaped construction
Filled with Polish duck down in a 91/9 ratio, providing thermal insulation and air circulation. Down with a fill power of 700 cuin is characterized by high compressibility, allowing the sleeping bag to be folded into compact dimensions. H-shaped chamber construction eliminates the effect of down shifting. A footbox in the form of a drawstring is enhanced by an additional layer of down, increasing warmth and providing better thermal insulation for the feet.
Zipper on the left side, Anti-Bite system
Two-way zipper on the left side, allows full opening from the top and bottom, facilitating quick entry and exit. A fluorescent puller allows for easy zipper use even in the dark. The Anti-Bite system prevents the material from getting caught in the zipper, and inside, the zipper is secured with a thermal strip.
Integrated hood protecting against cold, DUO drawstring
The built-in 3D hood increases thermal protection, shielding the head and retaining heat at lower temperatures. The shape additionally protects against wind and moisture. DUO drawstring, combining rubber and tape, facilitates adjustment: the rubber around the neck allows for inserting a hand without the need for adjustment, and the tape in the back allows for quick loosening as needed, especially useful during nighttime activities.
