Fjord Nansen Finmark Mid Carnelian 1000 g Sleeping Bag - Left
Durable sleeping bag in Carnelian color, featuring an anatomically designed mummy shape for optimal body positioning and movement freedom during rest. Crafted from durable Rip-Stop polyester, it includes a strengthened outer shell and MICROFill Super-Therm insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Finmark sleeping bag temperature assessments adhere to EN 13537 standards:
- T-comfort: 9 C – the minimum temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: 5 C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -9 C – the minimum temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. Not advised for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The exterior is constructed from 210T Rip-Stop fabric, which effectively resists abrasion and mechanical damage, preventing tears from spreading. Inside, it is lined with 190T polyamide. The bottom part of the sleeping bag features a footbox design, offering a more natural fit for the feet, minimizing excess space, and enhancing thermal insulation in this area. There is a small pocket inside for storing accessories and loops for attaching an additional insulating liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm filling
Inside is packed with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, known for being both lightweight and soft. Its microfiber construction ensures excellent loft and efficient thermal insulation. Even after multiple washes, the material retains its insulating properties.
Zipper on the left side, Anti-Bite system
The model is designed with a two-way zipper on the left side, enabling quick access from either the top or bottom, which facilitates easier entry and exit. A fluorescent puller ensures usability in dark conditions. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from snagging in the zipper. Furthermore, the zipper is protected by a thermal baffle. The option to connect it with another sleeping bag from the same series enhances its functionality.
Integrated hood for cold protection, Duo drawcord
The integrated 3D hood greatly enhances thermal insulation by snugly enveloping the head, effectively reducing heat loss. This ergonomic design also shields against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord combines practicality with functionality—its elastic portion around the neck allows free hand movement without needing adjustments, while the webbing at the back facilitates quick loosening at a specific point, especially handy under low-visibility conditions, such as nighttime.

Convenient for transport and storage. Once compressed, its dimensions are 33 x 16 cm with a weight of merely 1000 g, making it a suitable option for your backpack without significantly increasing the load.
