Fjord Nansen Finmark Mid Carnelian 1000 g Sleeping Bag - Left
Durable sleeping bag in Carnelian color, featuring an anatomically designed mummy shape for optimal body positioning and movement freedom during rest. Crafted from durable Rip-Stop polyester, it includes a strengthened outer shell and MICROFill Super-Therm insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Finmark sleeping bag temperature assessments adhere to EN 13537 standards:
- T-comfort: 9 C – the minimum temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: 5 C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -9 C – the minimum temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. Not advised for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The outer layer is made from 210T Rip-Stop fabric, which resists abrasions and other mechanical damage, effectively preventing tears from spreading. The interior is lined with 190T polyamide. The bottom part of the sleeping bag is shaped like a footbox, adapting better to the natural position of the feet, reducing unnecessary space and improving thermal insulation in this zone. Inside, there is a small pocket for accessories and loops for attaching an additional insulating liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm filling
The inside is filled with lightweight and soft MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation. The microfiber structure provides high loft and effective thermal insulation. The material maintains its insulating properties even after repeated washing.
Zipper on the left side, Anti-Bite system
The model features a two-way zipper on the left side, allowing quick opening from the top or bottom, making entry and exit easier. A fluorescent puller allows operation in the dark. The Anti-Bite system prevents fabric from getting caught in the zipper. Additionally, the zipper is secured with a thermal baffle. The ability to join it with another sleeping bag from the same series enhances the model’s functionality.
Integrated hood for cold protection, Duo drawcord
The integrated 3D hood greatly enhances thermal insulation by snugly enveloping the head, effectively reducing heat loss. This ergonomic design also shields against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord combines practicality with functionality—its elastic portion around the neck allows free hand movement without needing adjustments, while the webbing at the back facilitates quick loosening at a specific point, especially handy under low-visibility conditions, such as nighttime.
Convenient transport and storage
Convenient for transport and storage. Once compressed, its dimensions are 33 x 16 cm with a weight of merely 1000 g, making it a suitable option for your backpack without significantly increasing the load.
