Fjord Nansen Finmark Mid Carnelian 1000 g Sleeping Bag - right
Sturdy sleeping bag in Carnelian color, featuring an anatomically designed mummy cut that promotes comfortable body alignment and allows freedom of movement during rest. Constructed from durable Rip-Stop polyester, it has a reinforced outer layer and MICROFill Super-Therm insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Finmark sleeping bags are tested according to EN 13537 temperature ratings:
- T-comfort: 9°C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably all night,
- T-limit: 5°C – the minimum temperature a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -9°C – the lowest temperature for survival in the sleeping bag. Not advised for frequent use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The exterior is crafted from 210T Rip-Stop fabric, which withstands abrasion and mechanical damage, effectively stopping tears from spreading. The lining is made with 190T polyamide. The foot-shaped bottom of the sleeping bag is tailored to the natural foot position, minimizing excess space and enhancing thermal insulation in that area. An internal pocket offers storage for accessories, while loops allow for attaching an additional insulating liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm filling
Inside, the filling consists of lightweight and soft MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation. Featuring a microfiber structure, it offers high loft and effective thermal insulation. Even after multiple washes, the material preserves its insulating qualities.
Zipper on the right side, Anti-Bite system
The model features a two-way zipper on the right side, allowing quick opening from the top or bottom, making entry and exit easier. A fluorescent puller allows operation in the dark. The Anti-Bite system prevents fabric from getting caught in the zipper. Additionally, the zipper is secured with a thermal baffle. The ability to join it with another sleeping bag from the same series enhances the model’s functionality.
Integrated hood for cold protection, Duo drawcord
The integrated 3D hood enhances thermal insulation by snugly enclosing the head, minimizing heat loss. Its ergonomic design also shields against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord cleverly combines elastic and webbing—the elastic near the neck allows for free hand movement without altering the settings, while the webbing at the back enables swift loosening in a precise area, especially useful in low-visibility situations, such as nighttime.

Convenient for transport and storage. When folded, its dimensions are 33 x 16 cm and it has a weight of merely 1000 g, making it an ideal choice for your backpack without significantly increasing the load.
