The footwear is not among the cheapest, so even during promotions it's worth carefully considering before purchasing. At the beginning, it's worth asking yourself if you really need this type of shoes. For me, the answer was yes. Since September 2024, I've been choosing Columbia products, and this is my fourth pair from this brand. I was convinced by the solid quality, genuine waterproofness, good foot ventilation, and sole grip. An additional advantage is the precise sizing – size 45 matches the actual length of the foot. The model described provides good ankle support, looks aesthetically pleasing, and is warm (best for temperatures above 6°C). After testing in rain and mud, they performed very well – I'm curious how they'll handle snow. The shoes are light, cushion well while walking, and their appearance fits both urban and military styles. I hope they will be as durable as the previous models I've used.

The high-rising upper that encases the ankle is constructed from durable fabric and nubuck. Sealed seams offer extra protection against wind and moisture. For enhanced thermal comfort, a lining utilizing Omni-Heat Infinity technology with a density of 200 g/m2 is integrated. This revolutionary technology operates through gold dots on the lining, which reflect body-generated heat and aid in retaining it within the boots. The incorporation of golden dots delivers 40% more insulation compared to the conventional Omni-Heat system.
The toe area of the boots has added reinforcement with a TPU plastic layer to safeguard against physical damage. To ensure excellent grip, a premium Adapt Trax outsole is utilized, enabling stable movement across various terrains. The shoe includes an anatomically shaped Techlite midsole, which absorbs shocks and adapts to uneven ground. A specially designed section in the midfoot area offers extra stability and boosts comfort for extended wear.
A broad loop on the back of the upper simplifies putting on and taking off the boots.
