Carinthia HIG 5.0 Trousers - MultiCam Alpine

Insulated pants in MultiCam Alpine camouflage, designed for operations in temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius and in changeable weather. The design was developed as an insulating layer, providing a high level of thermal protection.

The outer layer is made from windproof Carinthia SOF 2L material, while the inside is filled with 125 g/m2 G-Loft synthetic insulation. The design features one external pocket, adjustable suspenders, and two-way side zippers, allowing the pants to be put on quickly without removing footwear.

The outer layer is made from polyamide-based Carinthia SOF 2L. The lightweight, windproof, and hydrophobic material limits cold air penetration and moisture absorption during brief contact with precipitation or wet surroundings. The pants lining is made of 100% polyamide, making it easier to put the garment on over thermal base layer clothing. Durable fabric reinforcements have been placed in critical knee and seat areas, increasing durability during movement in changing positions.

Warmth retention is provided by 125 g/m2 G-Loft synthetic insulation, made of 100% polyester. G-Loft fibers trap warmed air inside the insulating layer, helping maintain thermal comfort in low temperatures. The resilient fill does not clump and retains its warming properties even when damp.

The pants are equipped with one external pocket, located at the back and secured with a concealed zipper with a protective flap. The pocket is intended for safely carrying small essentials.

The model is equipped with adjustable suspenders of a new design to stabilize the pants while walking, while the high-rise waist at the rear covers the lower back and protects the kidney area from drafts. Along the legs run separating two-way zippers with a windproof strip, allowing the pants to be put on or taken off quickly while wearing boots and gear, and also enabling ventilation adjustment during intense exertion. The packed dimensions of 18 x 31 cm and the low weight make the garment easy to carry in a backpack.
