Carinthia D 600X Medium Right Sleeping Bag - Black
A durable sleeping bag in black, with a mummy design, ensures a comfortable body position and freedom of movement during sleep. The outer layer is made of high-quality Shellproof Ultra material, while the inner layer is made of Shelltex Ultra material. The D 600X model is filled with 95/5 CQ-Down snow goose down. The version with a right-side zipper in size M measures 215 x 77 x 50 cm.
Temperatures and conditions of use
The temperature range for using the Carinthia D 600X sleeping bag was determined in accordance with ISO 23537-1/EN 13537:
- T-comfort: -5 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -12 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -32 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Shellproof Ultra and Shelltex Ultra material
The outer side uses lightweight and durable Shellproof Ultra material with a Rip-Stop structure and a polyurethane coating (PU), which limits moisture penetration into the sleeping bag and helps move it outward. Inside, lightweight Shelltex Ultra material was used, distinguished by high breathability and hydrophobic properties, which increases sleeping comfort. The special material structure also limits natural fill from escaping to the outside.
G-Loft fill, 95/5 CQ-Down
The D 600X model is filled with 95/5 CQ-Down snow goose down, which features very low weight, very good thermal insulation, and high loft at 600 cuin (cubic inches). The down is distributed in H-type chambers, which limit shifting and provide even protection against the cold. The DIScover system (Dry Insulation System) protects the fill against moisture by using the sleeping bag's outer construction. It limits the accumulation of condensed water vapor in the down, helping preserve its thermal insulation properties.
Left-side zipper, Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper placed on the left side, allowing it to be fully unzipped. Thanks to the Anti Snag system, the material does not catch in the zipper. A velcro flap located at the top of the zipper reduces the risk of opening during sleep. Inside there is a small pouch for small items.
Integrated hood protecting against the cold
The built-in hood in the sleeping bag increases thermal protection by shielding the head and reducing heat loss in low temperatures. Its shape also provides additional protection against wind and moisture.
Convenient transport and storage
When packed, the sleeping bag takes up little space, making transport and storage easier. The folded dimensions are 20 x 21 cm, and the weight is only 1000 g, so carrying it does not excessively burden your luggage.

It combines waterproofing and windproofing with breathability, allowing wicking away of moisture and the passage of gases without the need to open the ventilation holes. Oxygen and CO2 can freely pass through the material, ensuring comfort and effective insulation. An additional advantage is the second, detachable outer layer, which allows for quick removal of water or ice accumulating between the layers.
