Bushnell H2O 8x42 Roof Binoculars – Dark Blue
Bushnell H2O Series includes fully waterproof binoculars with housings covered in a rubberized Soft Texture Grip coating, providing a stable grip and protection against shocks and drops from low heights. H2O models are perfect for water sports enthusiasts and other users who want to use binoculars in all conditions without worrying about them getting wet, dirty, or fogging up inside. The Roof prism system allows for a compact design that easily fits into a small bag.
anti-reflective coatings
The glass used in the model, BaK-4, is the highest quality optical glass from which the prisms in the binoculars are made. Prisms made from this BaK-4 glass provide bright and clear images, surpassing binoculars with prisms made from cheaper BK-7 optical glass.
Anti-reflective FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) coatings have been applied to the lenses, covering all air-glass boundaries with multiple anti-reflective layers, which minimizes unwanted reflections and reduces light loss within the optical system. The binocular tubes are filled with dry nitrogen and sealed with o-rings, preventing internal optics fogging and protecting against rain, dust, and brief immersion.
Solid construction, Soft Texture Grip
Trouble-free and quick focus adjustment is done using the central knob. The model also features adjustable eyecups and a diopter on the right eyepiece to compensate for differences between the user's left and right eyes. The tubes are coated with a rubberized Soft Texture Grip layer with a soft, non-slip surface, ensuring a firm hold in any condition and cushioning against shocks and low-height drops. The binoculars have water resistance rated at IPX7 (submersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter).
The model is also equipped with a threaded socket (1/4-20UNC) that, with the appropriate adapter, allows the binoculars to be mounted on a tripod.
